I've purchased other items from Design Toscano in the past and have always been pleased with their products -- including this one. The bust is very detailed and well made; I think it's well worth the price. For Halloween, I put it in our front bay window on a black pedestal (plant stand) I already had, and lit it below with two small spotlights (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09X2V7H29?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). With the lights off behind, the contrast and detail makes it look very ghostly, at a quality level consistent with Disneyland's Haunted Mansion. (In fact, in this setting, it looks very similar in effect to the Roman busts on that ride with eyes that follow you.) Apart from that, I will be glad to use it in a different setting after Halloween -- in our living room next to our grand piano. I debated giving this 3 stars versus 4, decided on 4 because the overall look of the piece deserves it. It’s truly beautiful, I bought this for my Halloween table top display and am in love with it, however.. there is some serious chipping on the face. It’s not anything that draws your eye or calls your attention too terribly and you can’t see it unless you’re sitting directly in front of it, but once you do notice it it’s hard to notice anything else, and it’s substantial enough that I would not have bought this in person for the price if I would’ve seen it at first.. BUT, I am happy with it and am glad I bought this, would’ve gone back for it damage and all I like it so much, which is why it gets 4 stars. ... show more

I love this bust, even though it has some small imperfections on the sculpture, they aren’t noticeable enough to take away from the overall beauty of it. The base is also small making it easy to tip over if what it is on is bumped too hard, but other than that I absolutely love it.

This is my all time favorite sculpture. I have been eyeing the Veiled Lady bust for a while and finally I decided to get her. The piece itself is gorgeous. It’s just as the description. Some ratings mentioned it was too dark but personally I think she is prefect. There were no issues with the packaging. And the bust itself was well packaged and protected. Overall I’m extremely happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves this kind of art. ... show more

When I was interested in buying one of these on Etsy, I was off-put by the 200+ dollar price tag. Came to Amazon and found the same things made the same way for much cheaper. Was worried it wouldn't look like the photos but it sure does. Looks amazing on the mantle. Don't waste your money on Etsy getting one of these. ... show more
