This is a great option for a vanity if you aren’t satisfied with the pressboard ones at the big box stores. It was not too difficult to build and is made of quality plywood. I wanted a johnny wall cabinet to match but they don’t make one. Ordered a matching 12 inch deep kitchen wall cabinet and ripped it to a 7 inch depth; matches perfect and came out beautiful. Don’t be afraid to build or easily modify DH cabinets to fit your need. Quality surpasses anything remotely close to this price range. I don't normally write reviews, but this is one of the highest-quality products I have purchased from Amazon. The plywood core is straight and well made, and the facings are real birch. The hardware is excellent, with small touches such as heavy soft-close drawer glides. Assembly went pretty well, though I needed an extra pair of hands to hold the main panels after gluing. Be careful with the glue. You only need an 1/8th of an inch ribbon in the groove, and I recommend using a thick glue so it doesn't run down the side panels. The instructions could use improvement. Some of the drawings are too small to see detail, and in particular the designation of which screws to use is ambiguous. ... show more

Solid built altho the packaging was damaged by the time it arrived. Everything was simple to assembled except the drawer slides need much better instructions than the one photo that barely shows anything

This vanity is sold at a fair price. The directions need more details; parts are confusing, even when you are a ‘handy’ person. One side was roughed up, but I am dealing with it. Too much trouble to send back. Next time, I will buy my vanity in a brick and mortar store.

Plywood box and maple face. Patience is the key. Grab a roll of paper towels to wipe up excess glue. I would definitely use this product again. I am going to figure out my kitchen next.

Do not buy if you or friends are not handy. Do not buy if you or friends don't have tools and clamps. Do not buy if you don't have someone to help you. This is a good cabinet once it is assembled. However, I used to repair furniture for a living and found this a fairly difficult task. If yo do buy it keep these things in mind. Fit pieces together before you glue them to be sure that predrilled holes line up. Mine did but I have seen reviews that claimed they didn't. You will more than the rubber mallet, glue, and a phillips screw driver. The back needs to be drilled or cut out to accommodate pipes if you are using this for a bathroom vanity. The doors also need to be drilled for the handles. The pieces come with angle brackets attached. I found it easier to remove the brackets and attach them to the opposite piece, insert the pieces together, and then reattach at the original location. The angle for the attaching the screws if you don't do it this way is very difficult and frustrating. Get strap clamps or furniture clamps even if you have to rent them. Glue does not adhere without pressure. I give it a 5 out of 5assembled and a 4 for degree of difficulty to assmblle ... show more
