I don’t have anyone that would be willing to spend a outrageous amount of time to put together a vanity with me so I built this myself it will take some muscle and a lot of willpower bear with me. So for starters the directions are near useless I’m not going to lie to you a lot of it was improvising there is a barcode on the directions which you might be able to get help by contacting the manufacturer. The numbers which are pictured are very light and hard to see each piece of wood does not have a number at least mine did not there were a couple of pieces that did not have numbers and I kind of had to assemble everything else before realizing where they went you will need a screwdriver but for the most part you will be using a Allen wrench which is provided. The lights are press on lights which I thought would bother me but they don’t. The lights have a dimming option as well as two warmer shades you can switch to. As far as placement you want to put three lights on one side for lights on the top and three lights on the other side the ones that go across the bottom you should be able to figure out relatively easily. The lights come with a USB and not a wall plug-in so you will need to get a wall adapter. The drawers that are horizontal at the top are smaller than the ones that are on the side which are the four larger drawers. I did end up with a few knickknacks left in the pack of nails because they were not in the directions whatsoever I’m not harping on that since the vanity overall feels pretty sturdy be advise it is not real wood it is press board and if you are too rough with it it will snap or crumble which is super annoying. The glass that sits on the top does give you a wonderful view of the things that are in the top drawer be mindful also there is a little bit of gaps space so If your like me and you like to lean your arm on that glass try not to slide that glass back-and-forth because you will pinch your skin. The mirror has a beautiful even image sometimes I find that mirrors that have been shipped have a little bit of distortion just from bending in the shipping a little bit but the mirror overall is awesome. As far as assembly time doing it solo I took from 10 P.m. to 1 AM which allowed me the time to assemble everything except for the drawers which took me another 2 1/2 hours. Overall putting this vanity together was excruciatingly frustrating bearing in mind however I did put this together by myself the finished product is wonderful as far as product price point i’ve seen people selling similar vanities for 699 so I do feel like you’re still getting a good bit for your money. If you start feeling like throwing the entire thing in the garbage you’re probably close to finishing the entire thing so hang in there grab a Capri Sun or a vodka spritz and take a break. The media could not be loaded. It’s gorgeous once it’s put together, not worth the money spent on it tho. Wood is flimsy, feels easily breakable. Not very sturdy. Took me about 7 hours to put together by myself only because the instructions were a little hard to understand. After organizing every piece it came with, it started becoming easier if that makes sense. The CR1 and CR2 pieces that are screwed into the drawers that make them roll also made the wood split. Along with a few other pieces while putting together. I didn’t nail the backing fully because I was afraid it would end up splitting as well. Didn’t understand the purpose to the adhesive stickers, but I would definitely go back and add wood glue if I knew everything I know now. The LIGHTS would not stick, they kept falling down. I finally got them to stick. All and all it was a pain in the ahhhz but once completed it’s gorgeous. That’s it, that’s the post. ... show more

This comes in two boxes or three if you purchase the light kit. It is rather heavy. This will take two people about 5-6 hours to assemble. You will need a drill bit to drill holes, pliers, and a drill or screwdriver, as well as a hammer. Pay attention to the instructions, you build drawers and sides a little at a time. Then you put it all together. The drawer slides are hard to read but in good lighting they are marked left and right. If you read the instructions and only go step by step it is very easy to assemble. But you have to have patience. I cannot stress that enough. Many of the pieces are stamped with numbers. I used some acetone to LIGHTLY wipe the numbers off because they showed through the glass top If you purchase the light kit just know it does not outline the mirror perfectly. The wires show and you have to adjust the length of the wires. It is a USB powered item and does NOT come with a power source. The lighting brightness is fully adjustable. It’s been together a few hours but so far, I think it is a nice vanity and seems to be worth the money. Side note: the laminate covering does knick and scuff easily. So I’d recommend white nail polish or white out for touch ups. Mine came with three chips but I covered it with nail polish. ... show more

Not sure what the other got but my vanity came in perfect condition. It was fairly easy to build (I’ve built many things so could be why I was able to figure it out quickly) took me two hours. I sorted out all the pieces and screws before starting. Also the numbers that they used to label the parts and were visible come off ! USED PER ACETONE AND A COTTON SWAB. Not a big deal at all. Only inconvenience was the side outlet that doesn’t fit by any means, but is an easy fix. I will be just widening the hole and fitting it like normal.
