This sure does the job of relieving pain. Its numbing agent will provide relief. I’ve used this on sun burn and open wounds. Fair warning, wash your hands and spray away from your face and not in an enclosed area. It is an aerosol and while spraying a pad on a counter top in the bathroom before I applied it, it got in my mouth from simply breathing it in and it wasn’t a pleasant taste or experience but it didn’t cause me any noticeable harm, just discomfort. ... show more

So I sliced my finger nail off and nail bed pretty bad. Finally after getting the bleeding to stop and after the initial shock of the traumatic experience, the pain set in. I had this leftover from postpartum and gave it a try. I sprayed it on the exposed nail bed and wound and it burned for a few seconds- likely just the awful area to injure, but no joke my finger immediately stopped the throbbing pain that was keeping me from sleeping. I tried bactine pain relieving spray earlier and it didn’t work as well as this and burned much more. This is a good item to have in the first aid kit ... show more
