Ok....I'm updating my review. I've figured out how to make this stuff work for me! I've got a big skull tattoo on both my ankles and in my line of work, tattoos are absolutely unacceptable!! When I first bought this stuff, I thought...eh....it's ok. But I've found the magic combination for me!! I primed my tattoo, used NYX color correcting palate, setting powder, Dermablend concealer stick, setting powder, concealer stick again, setting powder and spray and VIOLA!!! Like magic, my tattoos were gone!!! People who knew about my tattoos were stunned at how well it worked. I have been trying for YEARS to figured out a good combination to cover my tattoo up because of how colorful it was. Loooooove this stuff and I will NEVER try anything else again!!! ... show more

This concealer is now my favorite thing in the world. It saves me from daily embarrassment. I have been looking for something that has enough pigment to cover tattoos (though I do not have any tattoos). I am a full time working single mother who is in recovery. My daughter's father passed away from an overdose. Though I am not ashamed of my past, it is not something I like to advertise, and unfortunately the vicious track marks on the top of my hands do that for me. I have tried several makeups (though it clearly looks like I'm wearing makeup on my hands) and have even considered finding a tattoo artist who can just tattoo skin color over my purple looking scars. This concealer has worked AMAZINGLY for me. I have one manager who actually confronted me on my scars before, and after using this makeup I asked him how it looked and he said "better than ever". Though I wish I did not have to have a daily routine to cover up scars that are embarrassing at a workplace (where I work directly with customers as a sales person daily) I am happy to finally have the coverage I need to be able to feel confidant and comfortable and not see eyes wandering and wheels turning in a customers head. WOW! This is a real life filter for ya face. I needed it for my face and not covering a tattoo. But I can tell you it covered every single imperfection on my face with just a couple swipes of this stuff. I have tons of sun spots/freckles and uneven skin tone, and this covered all of that! I’ve never been more impressed with something in my entire life. This is the holy grail for foundation! I got tawny and it’s perfect for tan neutral skin. My face looks lighter than my neck in the picture only because I used my daughters setting powder and apparently I used too much and it was a very light color. Before I added the powder, it matched my neck perfectly. Amazing!!!! So happy! ... show more

So I attached pictures of the process, after 1 hour, and after 5 hours. It took about five coats to get it completely covered. I used benefit pore fessional primer (it’s all I had), and IT cosmetics translucent powder. I started with primer, then the concealer, then powder, and repeated the concealer and powder routine four more times and then finished it with morphe finishing spray. It didn’t rub too much on my shirt, but my friend even noticed the separation of the concealer and creasing over FaceTime. I am going to try a different primer and other powder to give it another shot, but because I’m a neutral tone I might have to buy the cool based concealer stick to mix them. This isn’t enough cover to justify using it. On a side note, it does itch as the day goes on, so maybe it might not be for super sensitive skin. I’ll update when I try it again. ... show more

On the plus side, 2 coats completely covered the dark tattoo on my pale foot. Unfortunately, it rubs off really easily when slipping shoes on and off or a blanket rubbing against my foot. It did not hold up anywhere near as well as cheap matte full coverage lipstick which stayed on until I used makeup remover to take it off. If you were using it on your arm or shoulder etc. while wearing an outfit that did not cover or rub against it at all, I imagine you would be very happy with the coverage for a few hours or an evening out as long as nothing rubs against it. ... show more

I'm really disappointed in myself for not returning this item right away. I don't know if I received an old package or what, but the foundation stick was broken in half (I discovered this during the first use, when the top half fell out as I started to apply it to my leg), and the texture is extremely dry and crumbly. Having never used it before, I thought perhaps that's the way it is and have tried several times to make it work, but nope - useless. I wasted $30 on this item and didn't return it in time to receive a refund (my fault). I'm stunned at the lack of quality in such a popular name brand! Absolutely do not recommend. ... show more

Needed to cover tattoos. My skin tone is light brown (naturally tan) - Ordered bronze - coverage is great. Important to moisturize first then one swipe gives complete coverage. Must use setting powder otherwise will rub off

I LOVEEEEEE this stuff!! I had never used body concealer before and I took a chance with this being the 1st product I've ever used. I have some serious red/purple scars on my ankles. Bad enough to where I was worried if I would ever be able to wear shorts or dresses again. I have nice legs but the scars were all you could notice! So I applied this for the first time with the setting powder and OMG...my legs looked fabulous. Now keep in mind, if you got super up close to my ankles you could kinda tell I was wearing something but at first glance, which is all most do....my legs looked flawless!! Seriously an awesome product, just make sure you get the right color. I'm buying my second stick soon! So very very worth it! ... show more
