This product leaves you looking exactly as you hope for. Not caked on, thin amount does job. As far as amount of product for the value…very consumer friendly. It smells nice clean not over bearing. It’s a dryer clay like consistency. Scooping/ applying the foundation from the jar looks/acts like butter. Just like butter, the form changes with heat & pressure. Ex. The Solidity of Cold Butter vs at Room Temperature Butter which ones spreadable? Dermablend initially opened behaves thicker and tougher but as it Very Quickly warms it gets more malleable. Now like cream it makes for an easy application. Results in very full all over coverage. Color matching: is easy & as long as u pick a shade near ur skin color it’s a breeze to match up to your skin color when applying. SIZE: The circumference size of the container is about the size of small orange and the depth of jar is only about 1 1/2 inches. I wish it was bigger but great product. ***I especially recommend for LGBTQ community. MTF Transgenders have hard time finding good natural looking but all over coverage. This does the job! Seriously!!! I had what looked like a black eye in my left eye from under-eye injections and this is the BEST stuff to cover the bruising. Really!!! I tried all types of concealers from a bunch of different brands and NOTHING works like Dermablend!!! Trust me!!! After trying many others, this is the easiest and does the job so easily. NO other brand covers like Dermablend!!! Don't waste your money trying others because I've already done it for you, for the past few years; that's a lot of money I wasted because I was trying cheaper solutions but ended up paying more because nothing works like this. Spend the money and get real coverage that actually works. I went to the doctor's office, two weeks later, for follow up appointment and they couldn't even tell!!! I had to take it off, right then and there so they could see how it actually looked. Of course, I took the dermablend with me in my purse and reapplied it in their bathroom after the appointment so that I could confidently go out in public without embarassment. Yes, this is the best and I highly recommend it! My tip: if you have literally ver dark purple/blue bruising, apply a first layer, (I did it over Olay vitamin c Peptide moisturizer, after the moisturizer dried), then let the first layer "dry" for about 5-10 min to "set", then you can apply a dab of setting powder, then apply a second layer or even third layer, and this stuff really works. Sometimes, I used a setting powder, sometimes I didn't so I'm not sure you need the setting powder. I suppose the setting powder helps to set the first layer faster, but after the first layer of setting powder, I didn't use it again, I just kept layering on the dermablend because I didn't want a cakey look. But sometimes I would just keep layering dermablend; it seriously works wonders, best stuff ever!!!! I can't emphasize this enough; totally worth the price. ... show more

I bought this originally to cover body tattoos but have recently been using it as a base foundation to even out my skin tone on my face. It can be a bit tricky to apply. It doesn't work well if you don't have fully moisturized, fully prepped skin. I'm still experimenting with which sunscreens and primers work best with it, but so far it seems to play well with most of the skin prep products that I've used. ... show more

Wonderful product to cover birthmarks, pimples, rosacea, vitiligo, varicose veins, bruises and so much more! I have been using this for years on my rosacea and more and have recommended it to friends, family and relatives. I have super sensitive skin and it doesn't make me itch and it doesn't break me out. It has sunscreen in it even. I don't use moisturizer under it, so it may not stay on as well if you do that before you apply it. They sell it at ULTA Cosmetics stores to look at the real colors but don't have all of the colors there and I believe they are smaller amounts. If you want it to stay on longer, there is a powder fixative you can use with a makeup brush to dab on with or use a makeup puff and it wil last 2 days or so and it stays on in water as well so it's great for swimming even! It doesn't sweat off as long as you dab lightly when you perspire instead of rubbing hard. It lasts a long time. Use makeup remover to take off. Give it a try at least. You'll be happy you tried it. And no I don't work for the company! I use one color for my face and another for my body and mix the two for different seasons. If your skin is super dry, you might want to shower and wipe your skin buffing with your towel to get the dry stuff off first before applying the Dermablend. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product! My girlfriend has a huge purplish birthmark on her face, and this is a life changer for her. It brings her confidence up so much. It's so nice to see her so happy and liking how she looks.
