Wonderful product to cover birthmarks, pimples, rosacea, vitiligo, varicose veins, bruises and so much more! I have been using this for years on my rosacea and more and have recommended it to friends, family and relatives. I have super sensitive skin and it doesn't make me itch and it doesn't break me out. It has sunscreen in it even. I don't use moisturizer under it, so it may not stay on as well if you do that before you apply it. They sell it at ULTA Cosmetics stores to look at the real colors but don't have all of the colors there and I believe they are smaller amounts. If you want it to stay on longer, there is a powder fixative you can use with a makeup brush to dab on with or use a makeup puff and it wil last 2 days or so and it stays on in water as well so it's great for swimming even! It doesn't sweat off as long as you dab lightly when you perspire instead of rubbing hard. It lasts a long time. Use makeup remover to take off. Give it a try at least. You'll be happy you tried it. And no I don't work for the company! I use one color for my face and another for my body and mix the two for different seasons. If your skin is super dry, you might want to shower and wipe your skin buffing with your towel to get the dry stuff off first before applying the Dermablend. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product! My girlfriend has a huge purplish birthmark on her face, and this is a life changer for her. It brings her confidence up so much. It's so nice to see her so happy and liking how she looks. If you’re looking for a cover crème that hides blemishes or small birthmarks ( like myself) this foundation is great. You only need a very small amount and it covers up so much! Gives me smooth even looking skin. I’ve used this product for over ten years and I’ve tried many, nothing beats it!

I can't say if it's moisturizing, but it doesn't dry me out. And I dont know if it gives sun protection. Thats why I gave them both 3 stars. It's been too cold to lay out in the sun. It does spread extremely easily. But you have to add a nice thick layer if you want good coverage. It does come off over time though. I use the dermablend setting powder and urban decay setting spray and even with the double make up setting products it still comes off too quickly. So it does require reapplying, which is a pain as this product is suppose to hide unflattering spots on our face so I think they need to work on the staying power of the product. But it is the best product I've tried for covering up unsightly spots. You have to practice and work with it. I scrape the product out with the scraper they provide and put it on my fingers and rub my fingers together to make it smooth and creamy then I apply it. I then take a small concealer brush to blend it out. I dont use it on my full face. I use it for certain spots then I use my Tarte foundation for the rest of my face. I use a big foundation brush for that and use the brush to blend it in with the dermablend. A little product goes a long way. I have very oily skin and it does not separate or run. It doesn't feel heavy or look cakey either. I would recommend it. Its the best product I've been able to find that really hides imperfections well but its not a miracle worker either. I've been using this for 2 months I think its been now. I still have tons of product left. I use it daily and it's still filled near the top. I'm a woman age 38 no wrinkles, a few fine lines. Seriously!!! I had what looked like a black eye in my left eye from under-eye injections and this is the BEST stuff to cover the bruising. Really!!! I tried all types of concealers from a bunch of different brands and NOTHING works like Dermablend!!! Trust me!!! After trying many others, this is the easiest and does the job so easily. NO other brand covers like Dermablend!!! Don't waste your money trying others because I've already done it for you, for the past few years; that's a lot of money I wasted because I was trying cheaper solutions but ended up paying more because nothing works like this. Spend the money and get real coverage that actually works. I went to the doctor's office, two weeks later, for follow up appointment and they couldn't even tell!!! I had to take it off, right then and there so they could see how it actually looked. Of course, I took the dermablend with me in my purse and reapplied it in their bathroom after the appointment so that I could confidently go out in public without embarassment. Yes, this is the best and I highly recommend it! My tip: if you have literally ver dark purple/blue bruising, apply a first layer, (I did it over Olay vitamin c Peptide moisturizer, after the moisturizer dried), then let the first layer "dry" for about 5-10 min to "set", then you can apply a dab of setting powder, then apply a second layer or even third layer, and this stuff really works. Sometimes, I used a setting powder, sometimes I didn't so I'm not sure you need the setting powder. I suppose the setting powder helps to set the first layer faster, but after the first layer of setting powder, I didn't use it again, I just kept layering on the dermablend because I didn't want a cakey look. But sometimes I would just keep layering dermablend; it seriously works wonders, best stuff ever!!!! I can't emphasize this enough; totally worth the price. ... show more
