    • Amazing for my son's eczema and skin infections - repeat buyer!
Our son was born with moderate to severe eczema and finding good skincare has been a constant battle for the past 11 years. Because he is allergic to everything under the sun, he often gets hives that break open into wounds when he scratches them. It's common for these wounds to become infected with staph and wreak havoc on his body. We've tried every prescription antibiotic cream out there (mupirocin, etc) and every steroid known to man (triamcinolone, desonide, etc) and those little sores just keep coming back year after year. I'm a huge fan of natural ingredients, so decided to give Derma E Tea Tree lotion a try since tea tree is a great antiseptic for other ailments we deal with. Holy cow - it's made a HUGE difference! We've been using this lotion for over 9 months now and I can honestly say that the staph bumps and infections on his skin have improved by over 70%. Every summer for as long as I can remember, he looks like he has chicken pox due to these sores. This was the first summer we noticed the decrease. It was the first return to school in the fall when kids weren't asking him about his skin! We use it every day on his arms and legs and it seems to prevent issues from occurring. We avoid using it in sensitive areas (around his eyes and on other swollen, irritated skin) because it can burn sometimes when wounds are open or skin is thin. I don't see it making a huge difference on eczema, but it has fought off his staph episodes better than anything else we've used. I wish they made a huge container because we go through it really quick! We purchase lotion dispensers on Amazon and put the lotion inside to avoid contamination of the lotion with our fingers. We also added the Derma E shampoo and Psorzema cremes to our arsenal and they've been fantastic. I can't say enough great things about this company and their products. Finding something that actually works without all of the nasty steroid side effects brings this tired, stressed mom to tears. We order it on a monthly basis through subscribe and save. Note that the smell of tea tree is a strong one (and it's not for everyone) but if you really want something that works, don't let it deter you. We actually love the smell! ... show more

I have a couple areas of determitis that haven't responded well to topical OTC or RX ointments-and don't like using these steriods long time. Tea Tree oil is an anti bacterial and an anti fungal product which has been very helpful in eliminating these flare up--soothing the area and helping it to heal. Of course tea tree oil has a medicinal odor.. very distinctive.. so I use a little and then moisterize. The odor recedes after a bit, but it's worth it for the healing and relief. I’ve been using this brand for years and I love them. The tea tree and vitamin E are the only things that help my dry, sensitive skin, especially in the winter. This was my first time trying the one in the tub - I usually buy the tube and I love them both.

I can't get enough of this stuff. I know the smell is not for everyone, my husband dislikes it, but I absolutely love it. Its moisturizing, it has a slight cooling/tingling sensation, and it works so well. I could probably take a bath in it and I'd be happy. I really like this cream but it has an awful smell. On the good side the smell goes away quickly. Just wish it smelled nicer going on.
