This is a nice sized tub of vegan face cream. This doesn't cause my eyes to water (I'm sensitive to many products). You only need a very small amount because it's thick and creamy. It soaks right in to my skin and it's not greasy. It doesn't make my face to break out. It's reasonably priced too which is a plus. I didn't know if I'd like the tub but I do. I'll be able to use every last drop unlike pumps. (There's always product left in the bottom of those pump bottles which I can't get out). This face cream is worth a try.     • A light cream which does actually help
I discovered Derma E moisturizing renewal cream accidentally. I had received a smaple sized bottle of their salt scrub which I love, and went tookiong for more when my small jar was used up (though it did last me more than a month)! I first found it on their site, and they were sold out of the scrub. I got a few other products to try. This is my favorite of those I tried. It is a light cream but very moisturizing. After using it for about a week I have noticed a difference in the health and texture of my skin. I had been using a moisturizer (Algenist) which is 5-10 times as expensive. I love Algenist's night cream (solid serum) and will keep using that, but really like this for daytime use. As previously noted, it is a light cream which is very moisturizing. It does not have much of a scent. It is not sticky or greasy, It does not absorb (nothing does!) but sheers out well and does not leave a thick layer on your skin. It contains retinal which is one of a very few proven clinical ingredients. Many of their products use botanicals of established merit (chamomile, aloe, lavender, oat milk). I like all of the products of theirs I have tried, but this and the salt scrub are my favorites. When I discovered it was available on subscription at Amazon I added it to my order. I actually got this as part of a set, but like this better than their other "anti-aging" products. I’ve been using this product for over a year and I highly recommend it! I have extremely dry skin and this moisturizer works! It’s not too thin and watery but not greasy either. It’s perfect, in my opinion, and keeps your face feeling soft and smooth. I am extremely pleased with this product and I will continue to use it. I’m 69 woman my skin is combination more on the oily side with this face cream . I’ve been using this over a month daily morning . I tend to put less cream on due to the greasy feeling for the most part it’s pretty good . There’s a lot of ingredients I don’t know what they are but probably not to good .     • It's gentle and has a nearly non-existent fragrance
I have been using this product for years. I used to purchase this at Whole Foods and another supermarket and it NEVER CAME WITH A SAFETY SEAL, just like now. A lot of people complain about that in their negative reviews. The lid screws on and off. There is an internal plastic "seal" not built into the lid. Don't order it if you can't get over that ick factor. I use this on freshly washed skin, at night, sometimes after a separate retinol serum treatment. I use it in the morning and put sunblock on it afterwards. It's a gentle facial moisturizer for aging skin. It is not oily, and the skin absorbs it pretty fast. I do not stick my fingers into the pot. I use a small silicone paddle that goes into the jar to keep from contaminating the contents. I pull out a small dollop t(~the amount equal to one large frozen pea), and I dab that paddle on my skin. Using fingertips I blend it onto my face and neck. Because it contains retinol (although I don't know the %, and I HAVE emailed the company to get that number and they never replied with the answer) I would imagine it is a very small quantity. It's a good product and smallest nice. It's not greasy but It makes your skin really oily if you use it every day. I don't have oily skin it's usually dry so I like that it does moisturize really well but I can only use it every other day. My sister stayed with me for a week and tried it. She didn't like it because she naturally has oily skin so it made it worse and she ended up breaking out really bad. ... show more
