Pros: Sounds great and has 8 xlr or 1/4 inputs. Offers aux mix for monitors. Has all the basics to live mix a band with a clean sound. Bluetooth and eq settings work well. Xlr output to main speakers is a plus. Great value. Cons: no case, I would have paid more or bought one if available. Not a particularly road worthy design… need to handle/use with care. The built in effect processor is a bit generic sounding and has limited usefulness. Great for a band on a budget that plays out occasionally or for in home rehearsal use. Pasé de una consola beringher de 3 puertos a esta, y realmente ha valido cada peso, 8 puertos abren las posibilidades para tener más elementos en marcha el mismo tiempo, la ecualización funciona muy bien, hace su trabajo decentemente al controlar los bajos, medios y altos. He usado los 4 puertos de salida pasiva a los parlantes u otros dispositivos y realmente me agrada tener la posibilidad de contar con tantas opciones de salida del sonido, sin contar los puertos auxiliares, que son ideales para monitorear o hacer transferencia de mesclas paralela según la necesidad del usuario, el cable de poder resulta mas corto de lo que me gustaría, pero bueno, no es un problema grave. El bluetooth es un complemento importante que ha funcionado muy bien, a distancias decentes y sin interferencias, puedes poner música o audios desde tu pc o tu teléfono. Para transferir el audio desde la consola a mi pc usé inicialmente el puerto USB, sin embargo había un ruido blanco de base que no pude eliminar, así que opté por capturar el sonido desde la consola a través de uno de los puertos de salida de 1/4 con un adaptador adicional a mi pc, tal vez es la consola, o que no contaba con una conexión apropiada a tierra en ese momento, sin embargo con esta segunda conexión todo resultó muy bien, sin ruido de fondo que resultara molesto.     • Sleeper 16 channel mixer. I did not expect this level of great quality at such a low price point.

I am blown away by this mixer. The sound is VERY clean. No noisy faders or scratchy pots what so ever. The gain section is excellent. The EQ's are very musical, with lots of room for boost/cut. The 1/4" jacks are very solid with a nice tactile "click/snap-in" feel. I believe I have a new revision of this model compared what others may have received in the past. Before buying this mixer, I read that it is made of plastic. However, mine is made of metal, (except the two black sides are plastic.) They are removable, so I am swapping them out for a custom wood panels that will give the unit a better viewing angle for me. Just a personal preference. I never thought in my life, I would be able to buy a 16 channel mixer for under 250 bucks, that actually works and sounds good. If something changes in the future regarding this mixer, I will revise my review. ... show more

    • Can't get it to work on Mac?

I love how it looks and feels but I can't get a signal to the macbook pro. I can see it get signal from guitar to mixer and Mac has recognized it as a microphone, but I can't get sound to the machine for some reason. If anyone can help, please let me know.
