I bought these so my kids would know which parts they needed to focus on with brushing and flossing - they worked well, but the taste was so bad one of them gagged and refused to ever do it again. The benefit of these is outweighed by the giant hassle of the stains it leaves behind. I used these along with my daughter as the box instructed, and both of our lips and tongues are still purple 2 hours later, after immediate rinsing and brushing twice after. A little more pink than the old school purple but does that really matter? Nah! What matters is the kids can see what still needs brushing. And...it washes off just fine.
