  • The instructions come with the compressor are poorly written
I knew that it doesn't come with O-rings by reading the reviews here. I couldn't not figure out if it comes with oil. Some says yes while some says no. It actually comes with oil. However, I did not know it until I heard back from the customer service. However, it's too late. I overfilled the compressor already. I had to get some oil out and recharge the refrigerant. The instructions are too poorly written. The instructions don't seem to be for this model. One needs to remove the plug next to the clutch engaging wire connector in order to pour the oil out. One can't get any oil out from the low pressure or high pressure connector. ... show more

  • New and not a remanufactured. Plus OEM
Fits perfectly. No need to add oil. Just install.. directions will tell you to drain the oil from the old compressor and blah blah blah. Inside the compressor. It comes with enough oil to cover the entire AC system. It basically wants you to take out the old compressor flip it upside down and see how much drains out of it and however much drains out of it that's how much you drain out of the new compressor but if your system was already leaking what difference does that make so it's best just to install the compressor if nothing comes out especially. I've never seen a time and hurt anything and I've done hundreds. ... show more

  • Check and add oil
When plugs opened, you see that inside is wet and oily, but that doesn't mean that a/c compressor has oil that required for normal operation. I checked there is no even one droplet of oil, it was dryed completely at factory, so you need to add oil, if you want long and safe operation.

  • fits perfectly and works well
I just applied my new DENSO A/C compressor, DENSO expansion valve and URO dryer 3 days ago in my mercedes ML 430 model 2000....They all fit perfectly in less than 2 hour labour time...they work well thank god...my ac is renewed and for nice total price.....I believe that the cooling is 80% like the old original part but I hope I might be mistaken and have to test it for longer, anyhow, Denso is the original part in my car so, that new denso ac should work as the the old one !!!! But again I still have time to test it more before judging. Nice work Denso, nice work URO, nice work AMAZON. ... show more

  • Great deal - order the large o-ring separately (dealer part)
Does NOT include o rings. If you're replacing a compressor, or paying somebody to do it for you, it's worth doing properly. Properly means flushing the system, changing the o-rings, putting a new dryer in and a new valve. You can find an HNBR o-rings kits here on Amazon. One of the o-rings you need for this compressor is not a standard size and cannot be found at any auto store. You must order it form a dealer. Part numbers below. I also used Nylog sealant when reassembling my system. Then pull a vacuum, charge by weight and chill out. This is an excellent price on this compressor. Denso should really be including o-rings with this. Low side o-ring Part Number Freightliner - A0299979848 Chrysler - 05134027AA ... show more

  • Worked great on a 98 s210 w210 e320 wagon
Compressor on my wagon died and this was a quick install and after a evac and charge my system is colder then it has ever been. I found it was easy to replace from above didn't even need to raise the car by removing the radiator fan and shroud.

  • My Compressor for installation on a 1997 Mercedes ML320 did ...
My Compressor for installation on a 1997 Mercedes ML320 did not come with needed O-Rings (as others have said) for installation, nor was it filled with the required PAG 46 oil. It appeared to have some oil in it, but certainly had nothing to pour out, as required in the installation manual for checking the oil prior to installation. These issues have caused me much additional time, as it is difficult to get the O-Rings in correct size, and the instructional manual does not indicate how much oil was supposed to be in the compressor. Be aware of these potential issues, before ordering. The technician at Denso indicated to me that the compressor should come with 4oz of oil in it. ... show more
