It's bigger than you might think. Do your measurements. WHY THIS PARTICULAR ONE? If you want the best value, grab this Turbo style one over the Delta Children's licensed car beds. The Disney/Pixar/DC themed ones will be more expensive. The mold on this one I think is better and looks more car-like. Comes in pink, blue, red or black with yellow accents (pictured). Decals are actually of excellent quality, thick, shiny, glossy and easy to remove from the backing w/o tearing. SELECT THE RIGHT MATTRESS: Mattress sold separately sits on the ground. This bed is a bottomless frame that goes around the permiter of a mattress that you supply. I went with a taller than standard twin sized mattress which allows the top of the mattress to be flush with the back of the car's hood, making it easy to slide off the bed. Those with younger kids may want a standard thickness mattress which will allow the side rails (head and foot rails too) to be taller. I don't think it would look as good and to me would be claustrophobic. Used this for my 4 year old. he won't fall out. INSTALLATION IS EASY No silly allen wrenches. Just philips head screws and a couple washers. It may take another pair of hands to flip the bed frame over during part of the installation b/c to assemble the front and side pieces, it needs to be done upside down. You do have to put the spoiler and wheel decals on last b/c they hide screws that you need to install first. A lot fewer screws than you'd expect. Easier to assemble than IKEA furniture. If you're going to complain about having to put the decals on yourself, this clearly isn't hte product for you. The decals are the most fun part! WHAT WAS I SURPRISED BY? Good quality parts, but it doesn't weigh that much. I brought it up to the bedroom from the garage after delivery by myself in pieces. Just unpack and haul up piece by piece. Just enough to be sturdy and feel well made. But not so heavy that it's hard to move around if you really wanted to. Decals are good quality, installation was easy. The decal set had extra stickers in case you don't like the 68 number. They include a set of the number, 45. Not sure why they included a separate grill decal which doesn't appear on the instruction sheet. ... show more

This was pretty easy to put together, no seriously, if I can do it, anyone can do it lol. The worst part was the stickers and it was not even that bad. Kid loves it. His 11 inch thick mattress fits perfect without a box spring in my opinion. Very cool addition to his race car themed room

Really easy to assemble and looks so nice, my son loves it. Stickers were kind of a pain because there are no indicator marks of where they go on the frame. Besides that the stickers were easy to apply and nice quality. Nice sturdy frame

The product looks good, son likes it. The design is not great. It is not a bed, it is more a frame that goes around a twin size mattress that literally sits on the ground. Because 4 corners are the only connected points and noting in the center area the overall bed is flimsy. I expect in next 3 weeks it will fall apart and need repair due to 3yr old jumping over the sides, kicking etc. being a kids bed it is not kid proof item. More a gimmick for IG pics. The hardware the came with it did not work, in the front I had to use wall anchors to attach screws as all the threads were done on original nuts. Same for rear spoiler. The back slide in fitting works on one side not the other. Rear bold seemed had only threaded holes on blue sides of can and none for the actual headboard/back of car. Makes no sense as it should be other way around. If it was not such a big item to ship back I would have. Kind of disappointing. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Okay, have to say I love my grand baby.What I don’t love is being kicked in lower back in my sleep in the middle of the night by a 3 year old. So I told grandpa he has to go.Anyway I had prepared a speech that we need to be a big boy——grandma was prepared to stay in the room with him the whole night—- no need he was in the framework, screaming race car, race car,as grandpa was putting the car together. He was so excited he slept in his room all night, grandpa and I walked the floor to make sure he was comfortable thinking that he may wake and migrate back into our room later on. He went down at eight and did not get up out of his bed until 7 o’clock the next morning. job well done and this grandma will take a win when she can get one and a high five to this business. ... show more
