I have had this tote for about 4 years now, and it is holding up very well. I love this tote for any beach getaway, but I'm sure it could be used for other things as well. The design makes it easy for sand to fall out the bottom of the bag rather than coming home with you as your least favorite souvenir. Tons of exterior pockets, interior zippered pouch, and large interior primary storage area fits tons of things! I used it on a recent trip and it held everything I needed with plenty of room to spare. We grabbed this bag bc it folded up so small and was easy to transport to the beach while flying. It holds a lot and the netting style fabric allows all the extra sand to fall right through. I was worried about the netting/mesh material but it is very thick and may even be coated with some type of protectant to make it stronger. The straps were a good width but after a few days on the beach they did irritate my sunburn, but that was my fault. I love this bag. It was a great purchase for our beach trip. I was able to fit all 3 of our towels, sunscreen, water bottles, book, phones, and food. The pockets are so great because they allow you to put so much in. I took it to the beach each day we went and because of the mesh I hardly brought sand back to our condo each day. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and functionality of this bag! I needed something for the beach. I had been using a small canvas tote which barely fit half of what I needed. So I would end up carrying all the rest and my hands were full. This bag is great. Lots of pockets for my sunscreen, goggles, magazine/book, iPod etc, etc. The inside is large enough for my large beach towel, XL water bottle, over the swimsuit clothes, flip flops, soft bag cooler and more if I needed it. I sling it over my shoulder and I am good to go. Very comfy. I didn’t care about color, it’s a beach bag! So I got the cheapest which was a lemony/lime yellow with blue straps. Love it! I can see it from quite a distance!l down the beach. I also like the mesh. I just shake it a little bit when I get back home and it seems like the sand just shakes right out. Either that or it didn’t collect much sand to begin with. Note: I’m using this for me, alone. I think it would be fine size wise for a couple adults, maybe one child. But for a larger family, I would probably get two of these bags. ... show more
