Ordered this item in anticipation of our newborn baby. I wanted to decorate the child's room with learning tools that were attractive and interesting to the child. The quality of this item was very impressive. The adhesive was effective for years. After two and half years old, my child started to actively peel these off the walls. To my surprise I was able to reapply to the wall with no issues or additional adhesive required. My child was most interested in the colors and animals spread out along the map. Ultimately, I am very pleased with this product. It transformed a dull white bedroom into a child's learning area. I will definetly miss this stage of my kid's childhood. We have textured walls but I ordered this anyway cause it was the perfect design for my baby's room. Anyway, I put it up and lo and behold, the walls were way too textured and it fell off repeatedly and the parts that did stick looked like a big sticker and looked less than great. The adhesive is pretty good, so the issue was obviously that it wasn't making contact with enough surface area to stick. I figured what the heck I'll try and mold it to the walls with a hairdryer, I can't use it as is and guess what, IT WORKED! Really well! I heated a small 2"x2" section with a hairdryer for like 10 seconds, gently patted it flat and fixed any weird spots with a clean cloth (it gets hot!), went over the small section again with the hairdryer for like 20 more seconds and pushed and rubbed harder with the cloth to mold it to the walls. It worked really well and looks relatively great. It would definitely look better on flat walls, and there's no way to move it to a new spot on the walls after molding it but I'm really happy with the result. 100% recommend. We have slightly textured walls and it stuck right away and hasn’t lifted or peeled at all in 3 months. It was actually super fun putting it up too. Really vibrant colors, adds so much fun to the room and my son knows all the continents and animals before he turned 2

pro: absolutely beautiful brilliant color n kid friendly illustration. quality of sticker is awesome. easy to re-stick them n they actually stay on real good on my bumpy wall. n really good size. con: missing major islands... Hawaii!!! it looks like this is made in England. guys plz check before print them out. Hawaii is a little too big to miss :( suggestion to manufacture: you should draw few lines on guide map.(at least center line. I folded few time before I started) they will make it a lot easier to position the stickers. over all, I love it. color is absolutely vivid n illustration is both girl n boy friendly. if Hawaii was around, I would gave them 6 stars out of five. ... show more

I am so happy with this wall map decal, it totally exceeded my expectations. Lots of bang for your buck. It looked nice online but I was very unsure how it would actually look at home. It looks awesome! I was really nervous about putting it up, but that process was pretty easy (I had help- I think it would be more difficult alone). There were a few spots it didn’t immediately adhere, but I think it had to do more with my wall (slightly textured) than the decal. I just kept pressing those spots on, and they eventually adhered. Sticks well and instructions were super helpful. Larger than I thought it would be but I did not measure when I bought it haha. A bit tedious to put up as there are a ton of pieces but the instructions made it easy. I was able to put it up by myself. The pieces are easily able to be moved around if you mess up.
