    • Exactly what I wanted. 4.5
I gave it 4 stars because I had issues with Bluetooth connecting to my tablet (connected then disconnected even in the Djay app). But other than that it's exactly what I needed for a beginner setup. Everything else works perfectly. A good buy if you're just starting for the price point.

This thing is awesome, and does exactly what we hoped! The missus has been wanting to get into making her own music, so we've been gathering different equipment, and this was a sought after item. Everything on this is of very nice quality. All the buttons have a mechanical click, all the slides are butter smooth, with a zero notch point. Same for all the dials; butter smooth with a zero notch. The turn tables turn with ease, but have a nice resistance to them, providing great control. The ability to hook it up with our without a phone/computer makes it doubly as awesome. Just plug something in for music, and mess around with it. The ability to connect to pretty much any DJ app makes this super versatile. Its large enough that everything isn't crammed, but still small enough that it remains portable. There isn't any distortion, or any loss of sound quality when pumped through this, if anything, some songs actually sound a bit better, but that could be due to the ability to control a lot of what actually comes out. ... show more

    • Complicated to set up on an iPad
It isn't completely accurate in its description and the way it functions in reality in comparison to using it with an android cell phone and a iPad. I cannot get it to work with the iPad the way it suggests it should work I'm stuck having to go without headphones to monitor. It took me a couple of hours just to figure out the correct configuration to use on a cell phone in order to monitor correctly out of the headphones and play music out of the main output. It just doesn't work how it's described. Maybe it's my iPad maybe it's my cell phone. Every time I try to use it I fumble for at least 30 and 45 minutes trying to figure out how to get it to work out of the main output in the headphones at the same time. A major pain in the booty. It works when it works but getting the configuration correct takes practice and when it works it works great I just wish it would have more simple. I haven't used it on a PC with any other software apps but I didn't get it for PC I got it for an iPad. ... show more

Both my sons are really into music. Playing, recording, DJing, all that stuff. So thought this would be fun for them, and so far it is a hit. My 21 year old got it out, hooked up his phone via Bluetooth and started. 4 hours later he was still on it. When my 16 year old arrived home, the older shared with the younger how it worked, and he was on it for about 4 hours. The price is very good, it is well built, light weight, works well and has lots of features. Sound quality was not great, but they didn't have all the cables they needed, so we're using the phone speaker connected via Bluetooth, which had a slight delay. It is not a stand alone product. Ideally you input music from your computer or other device, and play it out of speakers. They also are using their phones with a common DJ application, using the board to control that program. The only complaint they had was that some of the buttons are loud, really click when pressed. It is a physical sound, so does not come through output, just the board clicks. Told me that if the volume on the music was up where it should be, you will not even hear them. If you, or someone you know, is interested in DJing, this is a good board. Two channels, so if someone is really into it, they probably want something with more channels, and probably better quality and expense, but to start out, this is a great option. ... show more

    • Small, hindered by the applications and lack of connectivity.
This is a lot of fun but it's ultimately a toy compared to higher end options. If you need something portable to take to a small party, just want to play around, or practice, this isn't bad. The pots are smooth, they feel heavy but simple to adjust, and you get immediate input feedback when connected directly to a system. Through bluetooth, there is a noticeable delay. Big hindrance are the phone apps. You can connect it to other applications, but most usability comes from the phone apps and of course, they want you to buy all the DJ tracks. They've got a lot of them, you can use your Apple library (has to be that, can't use Spotify or Tidal), or custom audio files, but you can only really do what you're hoping to do in the apps and one of them you basically can't do anything with without paying for a subscription. No thanks. It's cool for beginners, but it really forces you into a money pit and this is not a cheap hobby to get into. ... show more

    • Great entry level DJ controller
I wanted to dabble in DJing and I had an event coming up where it was low pressure and I can try my hand at this. This DJ controller was a great price and fit what I need perfectly. It can connect to the laptop with a USB type C cable, which is what I did. But it can also connect to a phone or tablet via Bluetooth. It has to 3.5 mm ports on the left side with control knobs. One is for the headphones and one for the audio out to go to the speakers. I used the software called Djay to play the songs and it recognized the controller right away! I didn't need to download any drivers or anything other than the software. I highly recommend it if you are a beginner like me and want to learn the basics. ... show more
