  • Excelente 👌
Recomendado... ... show more

  • About 10 hours of use.
We use these daily and for hours at a time as we restore fiberglass boats. We typically get over 1000 hours of use out of a Makita and over 2000 from a Dewalt. They cost more and are a tad heavier.... I'm excited to see how long this thing last, but so far its been great.

  • Spindle is NOT common size smaller then 5/8
Seems too be okay but beware the spindle is not 5/8,it's smaller, destroyed one of my zephyr plates as I was polishing with it,seems strong and works well but that's definitely not a positive. Can't find anywhere to contact the seller so here I am!!!

  • Buffer Polisher
Very nice powerful buffer/ polisher. It’s pretty heavy to hold while using, the wool pad left fuzzies all over my van. I’d suggest washing the wool pad first before using.

  • A single action (not orbital) polisher, with power to spare.
I did a run-time test with this polisher, running continuously for 15 minutes under medium load – to ensure the gearbox would not overheat (like being used as a polisher). To my surprise – it was just warm to the touch after running non-stop for 15 minutes at around 75 degrees during the day. Next item on the list was to check the RPM load over the various speeds. The speed test-versus load provided consistent results – setting it on the lower rpm and applying moderate pressure to polish resulted in the same experience when setting it on the highest rpm and applying the same load. The vibration between the two speeds produced the same experience, when used for 10 to 15 minutes at a span over the course of 2-4 hrs. (and the machine remained cool). I found it easy to use, powerful (with plenty of torque to keep the pad spinning when moderate pressure was applied) at all speeds. Is it light on the arms? Nope. Just like any other device that you have hold slightly off the surface, this unit is right in the ball-park with tiring out your arms when using it for long period of the time (they all with gives your arms a workout). Oh, and the gear box temp remained constant – warm to the touch. I really like the ability to see the speeds on the dial and have them lock into place while powering through the various grits of polishing. I like the ability to switch back and forth between the D handle and the stubby handle. The extra set of motor brushes are really a welcome sight these days – as anyone buffing out a larger boat or truck while running this polisher non-stop for hrs. on end does not want to be dead in the water when the brushes wear out. I really like the ability to rev things up and polish out stone surfaces – which usually requires a higher speed and more torque from the motor to keep the pad moving. This polisher has both, without getting hot to the touch. Being double insulated, there is no worry about getting a little polishing fluid on the motor while you are using it to finish out the stone countertop and having your hair stand on end :-) I had a left-over tool-bag from a previous purchase that fit the polisher, pads, tools, and the other items. Not included but needed are: Ear protectors / Eye protector / Masks (do you really want to breathe that bird doo turned dust your just polished off the paint of favorite vehicle?), and some sort of lightweight gloves (blisters and polishing compound are no fun). I have all the polishing pads in separate one-gallon plastic bags marked with different grits. Having them stored in the bag and filed like records (or CDs) is a great way to keep everything organized while working through the grits. This is great kit for a single-action (not orbital) polisher – it is targeted to larger surfaces cleaning and polishing. Add a storage bag, some PPD’s, and you are ready to tackle that next polishing job. ... show more

  • This thing is a beast.
Your immediate thought is when you pick up the box is this thing is heavy. Then when you see how it is put together you realize it is overall heavy duty. The price isn't the cheapest polisher out there, but the extra money goes into the polisher. I also like the variable control dial that moves in increments in the hundreds. So, you can dial in the ideal rotational speed like 2400 which is the ideal polisher speed. I had a high-end body shop for 20 years, and the first 8 years I spent literally thousands of hours behind a buffer. This one has a nice slow start feature. So, when you squeeze the trigger, it pauses and slowly, not that slow, but gives you a little leeway when it cranks up the speed. I used to feather the on-off button to spread the material around, and then squeeze the trigger which would bring it up to the pre-determined 2400 RPM's. With this machine, and the revolving speed dial, it is so conveniently located, you could spin it down to 600 RPM's for spreading material, and then move it up to full polishing speed. I also used to use a tie-on lambswool bonnet made out of sheepskin shearling, especially to do my final passes. This kit does not include a 7" tie on lambswool bonnet. However, it does include a cutting pad that is secured via Velcro to the base pad. This one is the ideal size for tying on a sheepskin shearling bonnet. You could use the included wool bonnet cutting wheel to get started. Then add the tie-on for the ultimate shiny stuff. Between the variable speed for getting the material spread, and the wool bonnet included ready to mount a tie-on shearling you have a buffer/polisher brought into the new century. All in all, highly recommended. Wear hearing, and eye protection when using it. It will double as a grinder, but commercial grinders run at 6,000 RPM's but this one will do for grinding as well in a pinch. ... show more
