The media could not be loaded. Like all digital watches, and this one is no different, you get functionality beyond telling you the time of day. I want a watch that doesn't require a user manual to use. Well, "Don't buy a digital watch" you say and you're right. But here we are with one...What's really annoying is that they will use the same button do different functions defined by, yet another use of a button, the MODE you're in. I did read the user manual (with a magnifying glass), a little 4-fold pamphlet which had some guidance but seemingly left too much out. How to do things remained unclear. For example it says to "press and hold A to choose the color of the backlight". However, it doesn't provide any guidance on what to do next. Also, there is a timer function called the Chronograph function that uses a flow chart to show you how to use it. Cycling through the various directions being pointed to, it became obvious that you can start and stop the timer, or you can repeatedly start and stop the timer to get an accumulation of time elapsed. Words saying that would have come in handy. Now there are a few things that I do like about this watch: 1. The strap will adjust to just about any size wrist, I have thick wrists so there wasn't much strap dangling. And, it has a double clasp. 2. The time is displayed in large enough characters font, day and date are included. 3. It's water resistant, so I can wash my hands without taking it off 4. It has a backlight so I don't need to take my phone out to see how long a movie has before it ends 5. The chronograph function provides 1/100 of a second accuracy A couple things I didn't like is the custom strap holding the watch, so replacing it, should it break, would be difficult. Also, the fact that the pins are not easily accessible, make replacing the custom strap that much harder to do. One more thing I do like is that under the crystal, along the inside of the bezel, are the names of the A,B,C and D buttons that go counterclockwise on the watch. I'll have to concede that after messing with it for a few minutes, it wasn't that confusing. It has 3 functions: a Timer, an Alarm and the Time display. Have worn this for about a week now and this watch has been great. If you have had a digital sports watch in the past this will be very familiar to you. From the beeps to the blueish-greenish light, it's familiar and easy to use. A bit on the bulky side but that is up to preference if one likes a watch like that or not. 5ATM water resistance rating makes it great for everyday wear without worrying about it getting wet. I like how easy this was to setup. The backlight is super bright and easy to see making for a very practical watch at night. It fits great and the silicone band is very comfortable. It is inexpensive and I use it for hiking, biking, and working out. It is a little chunky looking but for my use that isn’t important. I haven’t worn in swimming or in a shower so can’t say how well it would hold up to that type of use. Recommended! ... show more

It's bigger than I expected, and bigger than my old watch. The display is very easy to read, a plus for aging eyes! The night reading backlight is very effective with good contrast and easy readability in the dark. The operation is a little different than I'm used to, but overall pretty intuitive and easy to operate. Some watches have too many functions and tiny busy displays. This one is good and has what I needed. For me the best points are good display, good readability in the dark, waterproof and it has an alarm. The lap timer is good too. ... show more

This is a this is a good watch by all my standards. It is a good looking, well designed watch with many good features. Unfortunately, the Illuminator light on it is extremely dim. And my eyes require they watch that when I press the electric light button I can see the time and the other things that I'm looking for when I look at my watch such as the day or the month. If this watch is defective maybe the seller can contact me and send a replacement because I find it hard to believe that this watch would be so well designed with such a poor Illuminator light that it is equipped with. As you can see in the pictures this watch is in the left side picture and it is dim. The picture to the right is my current watch which is two or three years old and has a better level of Illumination. If it wasn't for the light I would give this four or five stars easily as it appears to be a nice watch. Perhaps I have got a defective one. Hopefully the seller will see this and will contact me and I can update my review to the five stars that I think it deserves ... show more

This Dayllon digital sport watch is a similarly designed Casio G-Shock style plastic watch homage. What's very nice is the use of oversized digits for ease of reading. Great for my old eyes. It's affordable for a daily beater and has all the digital conveniences like alarm, stopwatch, day-date. The backlight is legible at night. The case is a bit on the excessively large size, as is for this genre of sport watch. But it's lightweight at least. And comfortable once worn. It states a 50M W.R. capability.
