I bought from another vendor first, and there wasn't any where near as much padding as with the Davion . If you like absolutely skin tight then use their size chart. otherwise, order a size larger. A good way to tell how it will fit is to watch their video - the model is wearing a Medium. The photo shows the difference in padding between the Davion and the other brand I bought. ... show more

These are good quality sliding shorts, but the padding isn't as thick as other shorts I have used before. The good thing about that is they don't show as much through the pants as the thicker pads, and in all reality, the thickness of these shorts are good enough to reduce or eliminate abrasions. One other notable aspect of these shorts is their length. These shorts are a little bit longer than other products I have owned. They provide a little more protection along the leg. The shorts do run a little bit on the small side, so if you are on the edge of the measurements, I recommend sizing up. Overall, these sliding shorts are good. The padding on the hips and thighs is nice and allows you to slide with greater confidence. Other brands I have encountered seem to have more padding but these are fine. I wish I had sized up since following the listed measurements resulted in a tight fit.

I ordered these for an unconventional reason - to use them when roller skating for light protection against falls. They are super high quality! The padding I'd give a 4/10 in thickness (10 being so padded you feel nothing, 1 being no padding at all). I chose a size XXL. I am a Women's US 16 and my hips are around 52 inches with my waist being around 38 inches. The branded band that says "Davion" is the least forgiving piece of these shorts, and it definitely is the tightest. I probably wouldn't enjoy sitting around in these because of the waistband, but since I plan to use them for sports/activities that isn't much of an issue for me. I tested bending/squatting/etc, in them (even when shining a bright light at them) but they were 100% opaque the entire time, so you can wear them without any worry! ... show more

I got these for my daughter that plays 16/18 softball. Comparing them to Mizuno slideshorts: These are longer than her other pair with isn't a positive or negative, just an observation. She likes that the nonpadded material feels thinner and will help stay cooler. She said the padding feels the same between these and the Mizuno slide shorts. She was very happy with the fit, as she has an athletic build and sometimes even stretchy material doesn't always fit her well. These have a pattern sewn into the slideshorts, where the Mizuno doesn't; again not a positive or negative, just an observation. The padding covers exactly where you'd expect it to be needed, covering the back quarter of the thigh and buttock when worn. These shorts feel MORE padded compared to the Mizuno shorts, and should offer a bit more sliding protection should they hold up over use. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is great to have in my wardrobe. You got two, black and white. The material is thick and in good quality and the padding is very well done. It is easy to wear.
