Not the best. Not the worst. It is good RAM. Says CL22 on it but can be tamed to Cl19. Works so well I bought a second stick to go from 12GB to 16GB and I have to say it was the best quality of performance purchase I have made for a PC in a while. It took the machine from general use and light gaming to general use and medium gaming in 2 steps. So that was worth it in the long run. I do find myself at least 2-4 times a year using it to game on due to circumstances like being on a trip or being away from my desktop for the day and on those days, this will a welcome addition. When I received this stick I only had one 4GB stick so it gave me 12GB total. It split the memory between the CPU and the GPU. It gave me more frames in the games I play making me realize I needed more the entire time. Especially as I use the iGPU. It's Xe graphics, but the lowliest of them. On par with Vega 6. When I placed both 8GB sticks in I gained a few more frames and performance maxxed out. 32GB would do me no more good unless I was working with large datasets and I am not. These sticks are inexpensive replacements and also work fine as new memory of course. I do recommend these.

I ordered this ram after checking that it would be compatible with my laptop. The ram itself came very nicely packaged and was damage free. This gave me an additional 4GB of ram which has so far been working perfectly. Before the install, my average usage stayed around 80%+. After the install I see typical usage around 58-65% with fluctuations depending on the workload. This was exactly the improvement I expected to see and have had zero issues so far. 5 out of 5, an excellent upgrade.
