  • eTextbook sample had poor rendering of graphics on many pages
Thankfully amazon has samples of their eTextbooks. This sample had poor resolution of figures/graphics on pages 5, 13, 14, 32, 33, 48 when viewed with Kindle for PC. As such, I bought the textbook for class and corresponding pages are sharp. I wouldn't get eTextbook for this one until possible digital rendering issue fixed. ... show more

  • Great book for database design
Am I the only one who has loved Cengage lately? Great book so far. If the later chapters are as detailed as the first few, then amazing! "Vocab" words are highlighted, and then a section on the side of the page has the definition too. "Large" words (eg. ubiquitous) have definitions. Great work Cengage! ... show more

  • Good Textbook
It was used for a college course. It was a kindle rental and worked for my course. I passed :)

  • Had to rent twice
The first rental smelled so terrible of smoke that I literally couldn't use it. I had it away from me at the table and it was overwhelming. When I was done doing my homework my hands smelled like cigarettes. I had to put it in a box outside until I could send it back and I ordered a new one. New one is great, barely used. The textbook content is not bad as well, I really like the images it provides of the diagrams. ... show more

  • Perfect condition, does not come with online access
The book is in perfect condition, as to be expected with a new book. There are no access codes for Cengage products included, but that is because all of those cost much more than this book.

  • NOT a HARDBACK!
Not a book at all, but a packet of three-holed punched pages on really thin paper, will work, but not what was described unless I missed something.
