  • Well Rounded Racing Rig for Experienced Racing.
Color: Racing Cockpit 54+blackseat
Why 4 stars instead of 5 stars?!? Id say it should really be 4.5 stars but you can't select it. I owned the Next Level fold chair set up and upgraded to this because I also upgraded a direct drive wheel and load cell pedal. Many of the rigs that $600 and up still have stability flaws or are a little overpriced. This unit (cockpit 54) has robust tubing and come with a chair for ~$415. Thats a deal!! Its much more solid than the $250 folding chair styles and has a real reclining seat that's kinda sporty feeling even at entry level comfort. I was worried abour the pedal tray flexing or the wheel mount flexing, but they both have minimal flex fortunately. The three things that I think need to be said are: 1. Dont tighten any chassis bolt down until all flange holes have bolt/nuts in them as you may need to hold some in place to line them up and they'll need to be loose. 2. Youll want to goto a store and get some 6m bolts and spacers to find slightly better wheel and pedal angles. 3. If you do a little puzzle solving you can actually mount the pedals inverted and eliminate a lot potential pedal flex and have better control. For less than $500 bux, its a great platform, but its even cheaper if you already have a seat. ... show more

  • Very sturdy and well built
Color: Cockpit 54
I purchased this to save some money on the higher end $700 ones. The tubes are def thick enough to be stable when bolted together. I wish there were a bit more adjustability options/mounting options. It has a ton don’t get me wrong. But you can only mount 2 out of 4 screws for Fanatec clubsport v3 pedals. The fanatec hub fits great and I’ve even seen people mount it to this upside down. I also wish the seat had a bit more options for positioning height as well. But this will be small enough to fit in the corner of my place and for the price; I am v pleased :) *id also suggest you paint or buy black bolts and hardware to make it match better. ... show more

  • A Sturdy and Comfortable Upgrade with Great Customer Service
Color: Racing Cockpit 54+redseat
I recently replaced my old Playseat rig with the Dardoo Racing Cockpit, and the difference in quality and performance has been significant. The standout feature of this cockpit is its sturdiness. No matter how intense the gaming sessions get, the cockpit remains steadfast with absolutely no unwanted movement. It provides a solid and immersive racing experience that far outshines my previous rig. Regarding the seat, while it is easily adjustable like a real car seat, there is a room for improvement in terms of comfort. While it is adequate for short gaming sessions, it could be more comfortable for longer periods of use. The assembly process was relatively straightforward, thanks to the clear and easy-to-follow instructions provided. It's a welcome relief from some of the overly complicated setups I've dealt with in the past. Comparatively, the Dardoo Racing Cockpit does not have the irritating central bar design that my old Playseat had. This design choice adds a great deal to the comfort factor, allowing unrestricted movement and a more natural seating position. The only reason I am giving this product four stars instead of five is due to some unfortunate shipping damage. The product arrived with several scratches on the finish and two cuts in the seat's fabric. However, the company's response was swift and understanding. They promptly provided a refund for the damages, significantly reducing the overall price I paid for the cockpit. Despite the initial setback, I am genuinely impressed with the Dardoo Racing Cockpit. The quality, sturdiness, and the stellar customer service have left a positive impression. I would certainly recommend this product to any sim racers looking for an upgrade. Remember, the initial inconvenience could well turn into a fantastic deal, just like it did for me. Happy racing! ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised
Color: Cockpit 54
Is this a big 80/20 rig? No. Is it unbelievably solid for what you’re paying? Absolutely. Genuinely have not had a single issue of frame shifter under race load. I’m not rocking a 21nm direct drive but all the same. Over 10nm you may experience some twisting, but honestly look at that price. deduct a star solely because it came pretty beat up. Shipping was sub par. Nothing detrimental but the finish was ruined before I could even run my first race in it. Monitor stand bolt right up with the ubolt setup. It’s awesome. Would recommend to anyone not trying to take on Hamilton in a full sim race. ... show more

  • A Bargain
Color: Racing Cockpit 54+blackseat
About me: An iRacing platform paticipant-3 years -run Road and Oval -in my mid 60's a healthy 200lbs 6'4" Pros: Very affordable-Adjustable-Outstanding materials-Very Stable-Solid as a rock-Shipping was Fast and Complete.A Very good for choice for an intermediate or beginner- Cons: Not really compatible with my Thrustmaster 248 wheel and pedals - i came from a Playstation Challenge -and had plenty of parts that i used to dial in this cockpit... i took a plate-drilled tapped and extended the wheel mount to get it my liking- i did not use the provided pedal mount either -thru trial and error-this is now very nice-i also found knees bumping into an adjustment plate for the wheel mount-but again im 6'4' with long legs- i trimmed some material off here and there =and now its adjusted to my liking. The enclosed directions are poor-but the rig went together after reviewing videos. Big Takeaways - I spent months looking at sim seats and finally chose this rig ,im very happy i did. Its a bargain. I think its adjustable "enough" but im very handy and like everything just so. I do find the chair is good but would like to see it include a matching lumbar pillow (which is included with another of their offerings) I also used the shifter mount to hold my keyboard as i use paddle shifters. total build time could be about an hour-but i need my rig "JUST SO" -i had a full day dialing this in -and now its good to go!! i chose this rig as a i have complete freedom to move my legs - BUY IT -adjust it AND DRIVE IT !! ... show more

  • Very comfortable!
Color: Cockpit 54
This is my first rig and I’m very happy with it. The instructions were easy to follow and it feels pretty sturdy. I was able to use the provided screws to mount my G920 steering wheel and pedals for the Xbox one s. I’m 5’9” and 230lbs, broad. It fits me comfortably.
