I bought this duvet set when my husband and I finally decided to invest in a new mattress. We wanted some thing beautiful but cozy and durable because we have pets who sometimes sleep with us. I did some research and decided to go with linen when I stumbled across this duvet set. I got the beige color, so it’s not 100% linen, but it is a 55% linen 45% cotton blend. It has ties in every corner and on every side to hold the duvet in place and a button closure. I was very pleased with the color when it came in. The beige is true to color, not too yellow or too gray. After my duvet inserts came in I decided to put it together and try it out on the bed. I didn’t initially wash it because I wanted to see how it looked. And no surprise it looked great and it felt good! My husband has sensitive skin and certain fabric textures can cause him to break out if thy are too rough. So he laid under it for a little bit to feel it out. He said it was a little scratchy and he thought it might irritate his skin. I do not have sensitive skin and I tried it and it felt fine. Not super scratchy but it could be softer. I knew linen gets softer after its washed so I wasn’t worried about it. We decided that we were going to keep it and so it was washed. After it came out it was much softer, not drastically, but it was enough for my husband to feel the difference. Its very durable heavy material but not hot. The stitching looks nice and the buttons are a beautiful natural wood color. It honestly feels like we’re sleeping in a hotel every night! The pillow shams fit king-size pillows beautifully. The only negative thing would say is that it doesn’t cover the sides of the bed very much. it’s a little too short if you want it to come down and cover your mattress. I have a very deep mattress but even if I didn’t, it still wouldn’t cover the whole thing. Overall five out of five stars for everything else! I would definitely buy this again. I liked it so much, I ordered a second one! I would suggest after you wash it, to only partially dry it and hang it up if you have the space to do so. I dried it on a delicate cycle and had to clean the lint trap 3 times. I do worry that it might wear out Sooner than I’d like, losing this much of the material. This duvet has a lovely soft texture and looks/feels like more expensive linen. The material is somewhat light weight but it does not look cheap. The narrow border, the inside ties and the hidden zipper are all features that also give this duvet the appearance of a more expensive product. Can't address the durability since I haven't had it long. I machine-washed it when I first got it and washed well. Off-white is an accurate description of the color - which is like a very light ivory color. For the price this is an excellent, high quality product. I would buy it again. ... show more

I bought several duvet cover sets to find the right one that was well made, comfy and did not compete with the rug under the bed. This one definitely fit the bill! It is so comfortable and soft, yet durable. I washed it in dreft laundry detergent on delicate, dried it on low, and ironed it before using. It turned out perfect! It does get a little wrinkled in the morning, but I just use my hand to smooth them out, and you can't even see them. Definitely recommend! ... show more

I am thrilled with my new linen duvet cover. After washing and drying the cover, I knew I was in love. It is soft yet crisp and so clean looking. My old Pottery Barn linen duvet cover finally needed to be replaced. The former PB duvet lasted 12 years and I went to reorder another one. The cost of the duvet cover was $329 and $150 for two Euro shams. The cost was a concern. But the decision maker was that the cover was going to take 5 weeks to arrive. I purchased this in 2020. It looks great and feels great but the longevity just isn’t there. Linen is supposed to get stronger and more supple with age but now there are a bunch of holes worn through up by our heads.
