  • Fantastic hiking boots
Size: 7 Color: Brown/Red
They are super comfortable and needed little braking in. I bought them for a trip to Alaska where I’d be doing lots of walking and hiking on wet, rugged terrain. They are waterproof, fit great - though I did order a half size larger to accommodate thick socks. I loved them so much I ordered another pair. Well worth the price. ... show more

  • Very Comfortable
Size: 8 Color: Rich Brown
Bought these boots for hiking in Alaska. They did not disappoint. All together over 7 days I walked over 63 miles and my feet never bothered me. I appreciate the waterproofness. I walked in some snow a couple of the days and my socks stayed dry. They are true to size for me. Very little break in period. I did wear a little thicker Darn Tough sock. ... show more

  • Beautiful & Lightweight
Size: 8 Color: Saddle Tan
I haven't tested them out on the trails yet. Will be going on a hike on Saturday to test them out or break them in but it doesn't seem like they need to be; they're really comfy to walk around in already. Great ankle & heel support so far but will update this review after my hike. Beautiful looking hiking boots and very lightweight given how it looks a bit bulky. I'm usually a 7.5 (regular width) but for hiking shoes/boots I read reviews that it's best to go a half size up to give your big toes room - I made the mistake of getting hiking boots that fit just right and my poor ankles got blisters and going downhill hurt my big toes (p_q) - so I ordered these in a size 8 and that's what I got; a size 8. So if you're a size 8, these will fit you just right even with thick socks on. If you want that extra room for your big toes then I recommend going half a size up. UPDATE: Went on that hike and these definitely are a great pair of hiking boots! The trail was very rocky but these provided the ankle support I needed so I don't trip & hurt myself. I'm a big klutz so I'd say they're totally klutz-proof. No blisters after a 2-hour hike up Cowles Mountain & ordering a half size up was absolutely necessary for that extra toe room. ... show more

  • Comfortable & good fit
Size: 7 Color: Java/Bossa Nova
I’m elated with these boots! First of all let me qualify my review, I purchased these they were not given to me to provide a review. I am a 71-year-old female with narrow feet especially in the heel. I have high arches and many shoes slide up and down the heel and or do not have enough arch support. On my left foot I have a Morten Neuroma And bone spur ring over my first toe first joint. On my right foot I have had to have surgery three times and have a steel plate and six screws in the first joint of the big toe. I can no longer flex that tow it is rigid. So finding the right balance in two shoes it’s so much challenging for me. I found that the shoes had enough give to allow my Naroma to be comfortable along with the fact that the box area was sufficiently wide enough for the front of my foot. The shoe was alsoSupportive enough to keep my big toe with the bone spurs from bending too much. The right foot where the plate is did very well because of the support not allowing and one non-flexible toe to be supported. My heels did not ride up and down and I felt like the arch support was OK. I only walked 1.39 miles today because that is always enough to cause my feet to start hurting. The verdict is they did just fine. I had A medium weight crew socks on. so to sum up the Toebox was sufficient for the front of my foot, the heels did not slip in the arch didn’t bother me. I purchased a size 7 which is what I normally wear. ... show more

  • Really like these
Size: 6.5 Color: Brown/Red
I see a lot of people saying size up, and a lot of people saying it is true to size so I'll start there. I believe they are true to size, but when it comes to hiking your feet do swell a little bit so I definitely suggest sizing up at least a half size! You're going to need a little extra room. I have hiked in these a little so far, they don't have too many miles on them yet but I will say that they are pretty comfortable. The toe box seems to be a good size and I didn't get any blisters which is great. The tread on the bottom is amazing, it really sticks to rocks and I feel like the grip is one of the best qualities of the shoe. I hike in a very rocky area that is usually wet and can be treacherous, and these boots performed really well. My only complaint and I hate even making one because I'm really liking these so far, would be that I wish they had more cushioning around the ankle. I'm just going to try to wear thick socks but I did feel like they're a bit rough at the top and caused the little pain around the ankle. Other than that they are an amazing boot ... show more

  • Best Boots EVER
Size: 10 Color: Java/Bossa Nova
So old lady feet, toes hate shoes BUT with an African Safari coming up, I needed a proper pair of boots. These are AMAZING. Feel broken in from the start, so comfy and my feet don’t hurt at all. Wore them out in the pouring rain first time out and my feet were nice and dry. I love them so much I called my daughter twice to tell her. She also got a pair and loves them. Excellent quality and workmanship and the extra pair of brown laces is nice if you don’t like the red color. Easy on and off. Buy these!!! ... show more

  • Very comfortable right out of the box! Great classic look
Size: 8.5 Color: Brown/Red
I absolutely love this boot! They were comfortable right out of the box! I purchased these for a upcoming trip to Ireland/Scotland. I did need a good shoe that would be good for work and hiking. I have worn them every single day since I received them. I feel they did not have to be broken in at all. No soreness after wearing all day. I usually wear anywhere from a 8.5 to 9.5 depending on the shoe. What I have learned is I'm pretty much a standard 40/41 European size If I had not just tryed on a pair of Merrells at REI I would of definitely not have gotten a 8.5, which I wear in this boot. I have plenty of room with a moderately thick sock, and I have wide feet. This shoe has a good classic look, goes great with alot of different colors. Not heavy I highly recommend this boot! ... show more

  • So much support
Size: 8 Color: Brown/Red
Absolutely love these. My main complaint with my last pair of hiking boots was lack of support. After about 3 miles the bottoms of my feet would start to hurt. I brought these on my trip to Shenandoah National Park and they felt amazing!
