i have to say i was about to cancel my order but they shipped them out already and honestly im so glad i didn't! so once they came i gave them a look and put them on. i was blown away at how nice they looked and felt. top notch quality as expected by Danner! now i will say comparing them to my redwing moc toe, the red wing leather is just thicker and better quality no doubt but not by a lot. also the redwing boots take forever to break in and i mean forever! OY! the danner sole is also softer than the redwing boot sole which will lead to faster wear out which annoys me a bit but also give more comfort. keep in mind you are paying under $200 for an american made boot of really nice quality. Danner moc toe also has a wider bigger toe box which i think just look better in a pair of jeans they are not as narrow as the redwings and especially the thorogoods which i think make your feet look too small. i can't speak of the durability just yet but i have heard good things and they can be resoled so ill see as time goes on. anyway if you are a boot guy buy a pair you won't regret it. later. ... show more

This is my second pair of Danner work boots.... and I'm a retired guy. I have foot issues. MY left foot has a collapsed arch, and I got tired of wearing sport shoes all day long. I wanted shoes that could go all day without pain. The Danner boots offer all around the ankle support. I had to go into a store to buy the first pair because I wanted to be sure they were okay, instead of just having to send them back... because most shoes i try on don't fit me correctly. My first Danners were the Moc Toe Lux model 31660 in size 11 regular. For the second pair, I went to Amazon for another pair of Danners, knowing that the size was right, and I got the model 15577 "wheat" color. They're almost identical to the first pair except that the Lux model is made from buckskin. Initially, I was afraid that the regular "D" width would be too wide, but they're not. MY street shoe size is 11 C, and I'm very comfortable in these shoes. ... show more

High quality Danner boot. No quality control issues out of the box, both boots were in the condition you would expect out of a Danner boot. The fit is true to size and they look great. I don't like the laces that come with the boot, i prefer the same color as the leather. This is my second pair of this same boot. High recommended. ... show more

Good boot. Comfortable sole and sturdy stitch work. Took a little longer than usual to break them in but definitely worth the money

I own many different pairs of boots but I have to be honest, these are the most comfortable boots I own. The only took a day or two to break in and have become my favorite boot for everyday wear. Highly recommend these.

Nothing they ate the most uncomfortable boots I ever tried..my feet hurt so much at the end of the day ...I used them 2 weeks they did not break in at all...I would never recommend danner to any working man...I was so disappointed....expected really good boots ..but got the very worst boots ..they are trash .. ... show more
