This is a good bag, especially for the price. I was hesitant to buy because of some of the negative reviews but took the risk because I needed a black and red gym bag to arrive in a few days. My child lugged it around airports and a karate competition PACKED full of equipment. It held up fine and looked sharp. I was able to sew a dojo patch on the front pocket. It’s been used for a month since for three times/week class. Still going strong. As an added bonus, this bag keeps its shape as it’s zipped and unzipped (stays upright) so loading and unloading is easy and mouth guards and such don’t disappear into the folds.     • Ripped after 2 uses, NOT extra large!

Disappointed! Only had since June 3rd, and it ripped along a seam after 2 uses. Not worth the money if you want a bag that will last, and it's certainly not extra large. It's the size of an average duffel. Good size for going away for a day or two.

This duffle worked out just perfectly for us. We used to own a smaller 17 inch one from another brand and while it got the job done it was always packed very full. When we decided on this one the larger size was a big factor and let me just say it was so incredibly worth it. This is constructed very well, with strong stitching and sturdy zippers. We checked this bag and flew in and out of some major airports with it and it just did a great job. I loved the addition of the side zipper pocket that goes along the length as it was a great place to store tickets and itineraries. The side pockets are very roomy as well. I have been looking for a nice large overnight bag which I could use as a multi purpose bag for the gym as well. I decided to pull the trigger on this bag based on the size and the price. It is a very inexpensive bag and the material kind of feels that way also, but so far it has held up for the first trip. I am a little nervous about the zippers, they are kind of thin and I always have bad luck with zippers on bags like this. it looks like in a few months it may catch on itself and get off the track. Lets face it when you have a gym bag/ overnight bag we put it through the ringer and it definitely can take a beating. I bought this because of the size and the price, with the little amount that I purchased it for I can certainly afford to by another in the future. I did really pack this to the max on the first trip. The side pockets are a nice place to fit your shoes and other items. the large interior is big enough to fit at least 5 days worth of clothing. The strap on the bag also seems very durable, I did not over pack to the point of it breaking but it looks like it will hold up to some heavy weight. I would say that i had approximately thirty pounds of clothing and shoes inside the bag for the first trip. If you are looking for something that will fit the mold for a while i would definitely recommend giving this a shot if your looking for a nice bag at a nice price. if you have found this review helpful, please like it below. I really liked this duffle bag. It is not the super duty fabric of some bags, but it is strong enough to do its job and weighs almost nothing when empty. The pocket locations are very useful and the included strap came in very handy. The only gripe I had was that my bag was delivered folded in half. This cause the rigid bottom liner to crease and become worthless. I needed the bag the next day so I had no choice but to use it that way. Given that most light weight dufflles do not include a rigid floor anyway, I did not deduct a star. I’m reviewing this straight out of box, so no comments on how it handles wear and tear. Feels a bit thin/flimsy, but for the price that’s to be expected. I needed something to carry light sports gear for my rec. league soccer team and by my picture you can tell this does the job. The end pockets are big enough to fit a pair of my size 12 cleats, plenty of room inside main compartment for two size 5 balls and my shin guards, gloves, shoes, etc. My recommendation for a purchaser looking for the same purpose (light gear needing a fair bit of room) this is a solid purchase. This bag is a good size, I went away for a week and was able to fit all of my clothes that I needed. However, I don't like that the front zipper pocket does not extend out so whatever you put in there takes away a little bit of space from the inner area. The quality is also kinda cheap, I only used it for one week and I'm pretty careful with my belongings, but the lining ripped between the right side pocket and the main compartment, essentially causing me to lose the ability to have a separate pocket, but having a little more space in the main compartment now. ... show more

I drive San Diego to San Francisco a lot to visit my girlfriend. This was the PERFECT duffel bag! It's sturdy, and holds A LOT of clothes. I bought this because I didn't want to deal with a giant piece of luggage, and wanted something that would hold a weeks worth of clothes along with toiletries, and this was perfect! Side pockets hold a crap ton of stuff too. The bottom is very sturdy and the strap is nice and long. I am 6'2", and with the strap all the way loose, the bag hangs below my butt.
