The idea of using a pill organizer did not thrill me, because it requires planning and preparing, two things that are not my strengths, so please read this review with that in mind. The pill organizer is made of hard plastic. It seems sturdy. It opens like a deformed egg to reveal sealed containers, also made of plastic. I have not used a pill organizer like this one before, so perhaps this is a newbie experience, but my first thought was, these are not labeled for the days of the week. Therefore, my first project would have to be labeling the compartments of the pill organizer (more dreaded preparation and planning). How would I label them? There are eight compartments and seven days in a week. Two of the compartments are bigger than the others, so perhaps those can be the weekend days and the eighth day could be empty, like a day of rest. Fortunately, eureka, I realized that one of the large compartments doesn't close properly and will not seal, and so that compartment would have to be the day of rest and the others could be Monday through Sunday. Unfortunately, one of the lower tiered compartments would not open at all, and my fingernail almost broke off trying to snap it open. Now I am down to six days of pills, no day of rest, and one day where I would have to skip my pills. Fortunately, another one of the small compartments was also stuck shut, so now that I was down to five days of pills and could have weekends off. Woo-hoo! (Don't tell my doctor). In the end, I realized within minutes of opening the package that I am definitely too lazy to go any further with this project. I don't want to plan. I don't want to prepare. I don't want to label or unsnap or reconfigure time. So I'm going back to my old method of pill-taking. I take a pill, then a minute later, I wonder if I took a pill or not. It's worked great for years, and I'll stick with what I know. ... show more

Nice little pill box to store medications or very small items. I'm using it for all my fencing screws/springs, tips, etc. The outer case is very sturdy and has a seal to keep out moisture. The inner compartments are a bit hard to access. Some flaps are easier than others to pry open. I'm not accessing them often, so it's not a big deal. I'm not sure if the opening and closing will get easier if you access them more often. Overall, the case stores all my little items well and moisture free. ... show more

I like the size of this cause it is small enough for a purse and it would be great to travel instead of taking multiple pill bottles. I like it has several small compartments and 2 larger ones. I gave it 4 instead of 5 cause the flaps were a bit hard to open. I know they need to be so they stay closed but it was a bit of a try to open them. ... show more

This is a very sturdy pill holder. I would not recommend if you need a lot of medicine that you have to take. The 6 compartments are compact while the other 2 are half the size of the lid. There is no way to separate your night and day doses, so you have to put them all together. It is really cute and sturdy and will not come open by accident. I would say to purchase 2 one for your night meds and one for day meds and mark them... Or it would be good for the manufacturer to make a day one with a sun on it and a moon for the night meds. That would be a really wonderful idea! ... show more
