Used it for a few days, to connect my PC audio to my speakers. Also tried the FM radio. Pros: * Enough input options: two line input, and an aux in which is good for connecting a computer to speakers. * Two output options. * Media player: haven't tested SD/usb yet. FM works well. Learnt that we need to turn the input knob (the DVD/CD/AUX/Media Player knob) to Media Player in order to tune the FM volume. * Sound quality is good so far, haven't heard any noises caused by the amplifier yet. The only cons I have is, the power switch does not work if the power source is DC power. Given the price, I had expected some risk but now I'd say the product is surprisingly good. ... show more

    • Allows connection of multiple inputs, Perfect for my office sound system.
The media could not be loaded. I really like my KS33BT. The price was incredible. It powers my bookshelf speakers and amplifies my turntable giving new life to my long neglected LP collection. The Bluetooth connects easily to my cellphone so I can listen to remote online radio and podcasts. I have also added a CD player and connected my XM radio via AUX. (As other reviewers have mentioned it would be better to have the 3.5mm AUX input on the back for a semi-permanent install rather than the front. No need to nitpick.) Also, previous concerns about the FM tuner were misdirected. It works fine- I just needed to improve the antenna position. The 15 second video shows that you can easily switch between sources.     • Great sound
Very good sound quality. Easy to use, except the FM station tuning method, (I was helped by reading other reviews, little in the manual) has something to be desired. Compact size. FM reception is excellent. My old receiver from the ‘90’s could only pick up two stations with my dipole antenna. I live a fair ways from most stations. This unit pulled in at least 15 clearly. Very surprised. Bluetooth connected quickly and worked flawlessly. Haven’t tested to BT distance, but with an external BT antenna, I expect it to be good. My only real gripe is that the manual is dismal. Would recommend. Good value. ... show more

    • Worked fine for a couple of months then failed.
Nice little receiver/amplifier initially, although I would have preferred one with a balance control. I used it very little; perhaps once a week for an hour at most, to play a cd from a player wired into the aux port. During the third month of ownership (after the return window had closed, of course), I noticed one speaker was not as loud as the other. I have swapped speakers multiple times to prove that it's this unit at fault and not my speakers or speaker wire. The left channel plays, it's just about 1/4 to 1/3 the volume of the right channel. This was NOT the case when the unit was new, so something has failed since then. The radio and Bluetooth connection also worked fine from the start. They both have the same problem now with the low sound on the left channel, which tells me that it's something in the amplifier and not in the aux input or in any of my input devices. ... show more

    • Well worth the money
Radio works great and appears to be rather powerful. Only downside is it does seem to get a little on the warm side, just hoping that doesn’t become an issue in the future. Very small and compact with good features.

    • Beware. No headphone connection.
I submitted the review shown below after receiving my first KS-33BT amp. Since that review I returned that amp and got a replacement. With the replacement amp I am now able to play, through speakers, an audio stream via connections through the 2 pair of RCA jacks. Unfortunately, there is still no headphone connectivity. I communicated directly with the vender and they said to hook up the headphones to the AUX connection and turn the mode to Line-Aux. This still does not work. I believe the AUX connection is in-only...not out. So as far as I can see this unit still falls short of the claims in the product description. But I have raised my rating a bit based upon the replacement unit and my ability to now connect to audio input via the RCA jacks. I am also tinkering with a work around to get headphone connectivity by connecting the speaker wire outputs to a headphone amplifier or connecting the line-out RCA jacks to the headphone amp. Not sure yet if that will work. ************** Original review below ************** I could not be more disappointed with this amp. I purchased it specifically because it said it was designed for headphone use and that it could be connected to a cd player and and dvd player via RCA jacks for audio streaming. None of these things are true. 1) Headphone use. The second photo/description (clickable to the left of the "about this item" section) clearly says the amp is designed "for many kinds of devices" including "headphones" "CD (player)" and "DVD (player). In that same photo/description there are pictures and text showing CD, DVD and Headphone uses. Scrolling down the page to the "Product Description" section the text says "Perfect for your bookshelf speakers, karoake, home theater AND HEADPHONES". In spite of these claims there is no provision on the amplifier for connecting headphones. 2) CD Player. There are three pairs of RCA jacks on the back of the unit. Two of the pairs are clearly identified as "Audio Input" and one of those pairs is clearly identified as a CD player input. The other is identifies as DVD player. On the front of the unit is a selector knob and one of the four selections is "CD". Another is "DVD". In addition in the "About this item" section of the Amazon product description it says "Connect your music streaming devices such as PC,mobile or laptop via bluetooth, RCA (jacks) or MIC inputs." Scrolling down the product page to the "Product Description" section there is a very clear illustation of a CD player being connected to one set of the RCA jacks on the rear of the amplifier and a DVD players being connected to the other set of RCA jacks. In spite of the product claims and the product labeling, the unit does not play from a CD player plugged into the unit nor does the LED screen show any indication that the CD player has been recognized when you turn the selector dial to CD. In fact none of the four selections makes the slightest bit of difference. None of them play anything at all. 3) DVD player. All of the notations made in the above paragraph regarding CD player connections also apply to the DVD player connections. You can hook up your DVD player but it can not be selected (and show up on the LED screen) nor will it play. The claim is made throughout the product description that you can stream DVD sound via the RCA jacks but it just does not work. Please note that I did submit my questions and what I was experiencing in the Q&A section for this product and the response I got said "The product description does not say anything about the unit being designed for headphone use". This is simply not the case as I have pointed out above. The response further stated "Regarding playing CD's or DVD's the amplifier can only accept input from CD players or DVD players connected via AUX or bluetooth". Which begs the question, what the heck are those RCA jacks labeled CD Input and DVD Input doing on the back of the unit and why does the product description state clearly that you can stream your devices via RCA jacks. RCA connectivity is apparently just an untrue claim. As you might be able to tell, I am totally steamed about the false statements in this product description and the included photos and illustrations. As always, I leave open the possibility I have somehow failed to follow the directions in the manual or somehow failed to read the description information correctly and that the error(s) are on my part. But short of the vendor being able to indicate where I have gone amiss, this product is going back and I would advise anyone considering this unit because of the RCA connectivity and the headphone compatibility to steer well clear of this amp. And I would also question any vendor who puts these sorts of inaccurate statements in a product description. ... show more

Simple , but works. quality build. Option to run on 110v, or with a 12v source (12v barrel plug with bare wire cheap and available on Amazon).

Works great especially considering the price. Replaced a failing used stereo receiver. Plugged my wire and record player in just minutes and sounds good. Aux works too and I'm excited to get an adapter to plug my TV in as well. F
