Looks great out of the packaging, Right controller wouldn't charge, I checked connections everything was fine. I decided to swap batteries and the Right controller was charging, but the left was not charging now. Leads me to believe it was shipped with a faulty battery. I reached out to the seller, they had me email aftersales dept, 4 days no replies. Haven't been able to use my Quest 3 for 6 days now because 1 controller is dead. Looks like a nice product if it worked and its not worth spending another $12+ on batteries to correct their issue so likely returning this week.     • Works great, smart design
The headset rest actually has a hinge mechanism that allows the headset to rest perfectly. The holders for the joysticks are perfectly shaped as well so that the joysticks will only go in the correct position for them to charge. I didn't have the batteries oriented correctly at first. The batteries have 2 metal strips on the outside of them that contact metal pins on the cover to the joysticks (facing outwards). If you think about it, it makes sense. The metal pins on the base contact the metal on the covers for the joystick, and then the metal from the covers touches the metal on the batteries. (I'm saying all this in hopes to help people out so they don't get confused and put it in the wrong direction). Anyways, the charger is designed very well by someone who is good at design. This charger works very well. Some have complained about how the headset tilts back and moves off the charging pins. With the factory strap, it's just fine. If you add the weight of a third party head strap all you have to do is get a little wooden block 2.5 inches tall to set the rear part of the head strap. Works great. Charges fast and you can pretty much use your quest 3 all day long with the extra two batteries. ... show more

    • Nice design. Unreliable LED indicator lights
The product design is nice and build quality seems quite good. It charges well with the default face mask but not with a silicon face mask - not sure why since the pins do touch the metal plate (they do mention in the description 3rd party face covers are not supported, so fair only to mention that). My issue is that for some reason even when it does NOT charge the led indicator light is GREEN - why on earth would it be green when the device is not charged or actively charging?! This makes no sense and gives the false impression that the device is charged when in fact it may be drained. ... show more

Trust me, I’ve been through 4 different models from different manufacturers (including Metas) and this is TOP of the list 5 stars AWESOME. My son has the MQ3 with an aftermarket head strap that is adjustable and a little odd when setting up on a charging stand (meaning if it’s on a charger it will be heavy because of the strap. The extended connectors on this charger is exactly what we needed and so much better than Metas. Theirs was too skinny and small and the connectors were too short. Overall, this is perfect for our setup and I would recommend this is for anyone who wants a good wireless charger that will be low profile and pretty dependable when you place it on the dock. ... show more
