Protecting a 600-dollar Meta Quest 3 headset is a no-brainer, but spending top dollar for it shouldn't be. The D DACCKIT Hard Carrying Case does exactly that, which includes hard shell protection, water, and impact resistance. The case is composed of a metal frame with foam-layered protection on the inside that is nicely contoured for the controllers and headset. The headset can accompany most if not all, types of third-party head straps, which is a big plus. There is some weight to the case, which displays the ruggedness and durability. The handle of the case is strong and provides a sturdy grip while maintaining a comfortable feel. There are two deep pockets for accessories such as wires, plugs, and battery packs, which is nice, although I wish these came with some netting or closure to hold them in because sometimes the accessories tend to flop around inside the case, which might scratch or damage the headset. The latches on each side of the case are semi-heavy duty, which keeps the case tightly shut, along with the option to lock them in place with an included key. The case is water resistant but not waterproof since there is no rubber seal on the inside. Overall, the case perfectly protects your VR headset system from nature's elements and unavoidable accidents at a price that won't hurt your wallet. Highly Recommended! A+ ... show more

I love this case. The exterior looks and feels tough enough for lugging around on the daily and the cutouts for the Quest are perfect even though I use a third-party battery head strap. I appreciated that they had some tape on the corners to protect said corners on the case during shipping. I have 100% confidence in this product that it will protect my headset and accessories therein. It took me way too long to figure out how to use the locking mechanism on the clasps, but after figuring it out, they work great. You just have to keep turning until you reach the "end" and then turn a little more past the resistance until you hear the click.     • i don't like meta quest 3, i use 2, i chopped the shape of foam out nicely, so it fits any headset.
the hard case is great; it reminds me of one of my drum set cases or any instrument case, like a PA or mixer case. the low is that they make these specifically for Meta 3, which is not good; I sliced the foam, making it, taking the pieces that go in the center of the headset so you can't put anything else in there. Now I can put an Apple Vision, an Oculus 1, 2, mini, and everything in this. If you are willing to do that, get it; if not, get what one you need. ... show more

While $60 may seem like a lot, the amount of protection you get with this Quest 3 case is enormous, especially compared to the protection (and lack of customization) offered by the name-brand case, which costs ten dollars more. This case has a perfect amount of storage for the headset, controllers, and whatever headset accessories you could desire. The build quality is excellent; one could drop this off a cliff, and everything would be fine. The design also allows for some modifications if you want to store your Quest 3 with an aftermarket head strap; I keep mine in here with the Bobo S3 and have found it to fit perfectly after making some small incisions in the foam. My oculus fits like a glove into this hard case storage box. It is made extremely well. Very durable storage case that stays shut and does not come open by itself. It has the perfect amount of padding inside of it with cut outs that fits my oculus headset and controllers perfectly. The handle on top makes it easy to carry it around from place to place. I was thinking more sleak Nope wrong. The case is sturdy enough for Transporting vr headsets. Case is rather quite large. Am able to trim the foam to fit quest 2. With aftermarket harness. Just requires some modification.
