It’s a bit stiff on turning coming out of the package. I added a little oil and it spun freely. I think the oil helps remove the tension from the screw that some of the people in the reviews were having issues with it loosening off. Granted I only used it on my 1 guitar. Don't get me wrong it gets the job done. I like that it’s multi tools in a single winder. I like that you can adjust the looseness of the winder if it’s too tight. The only downside was its price. I found similar winders for quarter of the asking price online after purchasing this.
