First it was super simple to assemble and seems to be durable. The plastic cover is fairly thick and the frame fits together nicely. I have had this up since November and I am delighted. Here is my thoughts: -- Most importantly for me is that this is the sturdiest and most durable bubble we have tried. It lasted all winter, through wind, rain, and snow, and it's still in perfect shape. We are using it in an area where it gets lots of wear and tear, specifically a NYC rooftop in the winter. We had previously purchased every year an Alvantor, but it never made it through the winter (the plastic would tear, or snow would collapse it). -- I assembled it on my own, including putting the plastic over the structure. It took me about 2 hours and I had fun. I echo some of the other comments here that it was a fun half-afternoon project. -- The geodesic nature of the structure make is snow-resistant (slides off the top) and very sturdy. -- The plastic cover is thicker, higher quality and more durable than the Alvantor. In the cold temperatures it doesn't split or puncture if the furniture hits it. -- I will disassemble it and put it in storage until next winter. The zipper broke within the first year we had it. Company refused to replace the cover but did give us a $50 credit for a new zipper. Bought one and had over 10 hours of time sewing it in. Other than the zipper, it’s a good product. But a broken zipper kind of renders it useless.

I’ve been wanting one of these for years. Went with this one because of the configuration of the frame. Only took an hour to put together the frame. The rods click in securely to the fasteners. About 25 minutes to put clear cover on by myself would have been easier with two people. Easy to follow directions. After reading reviews I secured it to the deck with rope in 3 spots and a few sandbags for good measure. So far so good! ... show more

Put it up last year and it was fantastic for the long, cold snowy Michigan winter to still have some time outdoors This year I went to out it back up and I cannot find where we stored the directions, I’m very disappointed they are not easily found and cannot easily contact the seller for a copy. We placed this on our second floor outdoor deck. It is such a great addition to our home in the cold weather. We enjoy the sunshine while comfy on the outdoor couches, space heater and electric blankets during temps in low 30s. Some neighbors also purchased after seeing ours.
