You can use this for your phone, either vertically or horizontally, and it works great! I used it on my generic upright exercise bike. I attached it right to the handlebar. HOWEVER, BE WARNED. Some exercise bikes have rubbery handlebars, and this product can't secure tight enough by itself to squeeze the rubber hard enough to be stable. So instead, just put some cardboard around the rubber handle before you install this product, then it works great! ... show more

I use this when cycling on Zwift. It attaches to the handle bar with ease. I am using on a road bike. Only complaint is the phone moves around a little ( doesn’t fall out or anything). Would be nice if it had a rubber base.

I'm used to magic-clamps in my photography business, where you have or two screw-handles that will release the entire mechanism for adjustment. This phone holder tray works very well for holding your phone stable on the spin bike handlebars... AFTER you spent 20 minutes with an allen-wrench opening and tightening and opening and tightening. Very frustrating setup process, but once it's in place it's rock solid. Just don't plan on moving it to the other handlebar or anything without another 20 minutes of loosening hex bolts and re-tightening them. ... show more

Adds a good size phone holder to the exercise bike. If the diameter of the bar is small, the adjustment screw may stick through far enough to poke your hand if you are not careful. The tray edges could be somewhat larger to prevent the phone from bouncing off the tray. The adjustment knob is on the fastener that clamps the holder to the bike bar. It might have been better to have it (or another adjusting knob) to change from horizontal to vertical orientation. You have to use the provided tool to change the orientation. ... show more

It is really thin, embarrassing flimsy for what is is made for. Not impressed, will be taking it off and ordering a MagSafe phone holder for my bike.
