"Dimmable" doesn't mean what you think it does. Read carefully - dimmable only means that if you install the right switch on the wall it can be dimmed. That could mean this unit, which just needs a 2 wire dimming slider, or others that have a second set of wires for a dimming circuit and switch. Update 12/17/23: These have worked great up until now. 1 out of the 6 have just stopped working randomly. Turns on for a second and then instantly off. Checked all wiring, power on house end, and plugged another one in from a different spot and worked fine. I think I may buy a single one and see how it goes. Can't knock them off completely just after one go. Bought 3/18/23: The ones in the photos are the 15.8". I bought two as a test to see if it's a good replacement for our boob lights. Couldn't have been happier with this purchase. Took me 5-10 minutes to install each. The instructions are simple... White wire to white, black wire to red or black ceiling lines, and green to ground. In 2nd photo the setting is at 4k for our kitchen and 3rd photo is 3k for our living room area. Also, the receptacle already in place for the boob lights were perfect to attach this new light to...that's what made it quick to install in my opinion. I also really enjoyed that they included a metal cable to attach the light to the base plate so if you want to take the light off to change brightness it just doesn't fall. Will be buying more to change out the rest of your lights. ... show more

It's a very nice light but It's only works for exactly one year.. And this is very sad. Maybe It's a funny interesting coincidence that boat fixtures I bought stopped working a few days apart. It is definitely not worth the money..
