  • One of the Best Deals
Style: 7800X3D/4070 Ti Super
This pc can handle any game, and definitely delivers great performance. It can handle any resolution, 1440p, 4K, there is no problem at all and still gives extremely high fps. Amazing price for such high end parts. The r7 7800x3d beats all other cpu's if you look at benchmark charts, and the 4070ti super is an amazing graphics card. It works right out of the box, just plug it in. It looks great and the rgb works. Built with care. I have it under my desk and it's impossible to hear. Even if you get close it is silent. The case is quite big, has great airflow, and has lots of space inside for decoration you may want to put in. ... show more

  • Cheap hardware selection, unstable out the box.
Style: 7800X3D/4070 Ti Super
Very excited to receive the product, and waited a long time for fulfillment, but the lack of information available on the hardware used for this product should have been the first red flag. The motherboard selected is bottom of the barrel from ASUS, the ram from a manufacturer I had never heard of, and the SSD similarly a budget-friendly WD Blue SN580. I had higher expectations for the 4070 GPU, and was disappointed the moment I saw "MSI" blasted across as the manufacturer. Regardless, for the price paid ($1699 + tax), this was right about the ball park of the cost of these components, and was saved the effort of putting it all together (or so I thought). Well, that effort would have been worthwhile as now I had to deal with setting up a new PC, transferring my information over, only to find out it is not stable hardware. I was met with crashes from multiple games from different platforms, my video editing software crashed and my project was lost, and there were random, and intermittent Windows bluescreen errors from mundane things such as opening a web browser to crashes between Windows restarts (as it restarted from a crash). Updating drivers, re-installing windows, and using optimized bios settings did not resolve anything. Troubleshooting the hardware would be tedious and time-consuming, and dealing with support would most likely be cumbersome as they'd have you repeat the same steps to their satisfaction; ultimately I resorted to returning it. I'm assuming it's likely the RAM and/ or motherboard issue, and their inherent compatibility (or quality), however, this was the catalyst I needed to hand-pick my parts, and start building my own machine, from 100% new products (knowing the care and effort the installation of every component will have) as there is nothing worse than the uncertainty from the level of competency that was exercised by the builders of these machines. I am not questioning their competency, however, I do not have proof of it either. ... show more

  • Good price for very high end parts, overally longevity to be determined
Style: 7800X3D/4070 Ti Super
I'm not that computer savvy and am terrible at physically assembling things, so I was in the market for a prebuilt computer when I finally got the finances to get myself a new computer I've been desperately needing for years, particularly aiming for a very high end one that would remain competitive for years to come. After lots of researching I came across this particular computer, where its AMD 7800x3D caught my immediate attention, as I seen it repeatedly touted as the best gaming CPU on the market right now. The RTX 4070 Ti Super, while not the best GPU, is no slouch either, being still high end enough to handle 4K gaming at 60 FPS alongside alongside all the other bells and whistles offered by Nvidia GPUs. The 2GB SSD and 32 GB RAM were nice inclusions too, when I found many other expensive prebuilts offering less. Altogether I put the parts into PCPartPicker, and the total price came up around $2000, so about as much as Amazon was selling this prebuilt for, a very nice find as one of the usual big drawbacks with prebuilts is that they're typically sold for quite a bit more than their individual parts are worth. I was still hesitant on making the plunge for this computer and was gonna think more about it, but then a couple days later Amazon took $300 off, at which point I struck, as it was going to be very hard to get a complete computer with specs this good at that price, prebuilt or not. That is not to say this computer didn't have some issues though. A few days after getting it, I started having an issue where the GPU would seemingly disconnect at random, at which point its fan would start audibly going full force and hardware monitoring programs couldn't detect it anymore, while my computer would shortly blue screen after I didn't restart. Restarting the computer would fix it but only temporarily, and eventually I contacted CyberPowerPC's tech support, where I was advised to try reseating the GPU. Again as someone not savvy with computers nor likes getting hands on with stuff, I tried some software troubleshooting at first, but none of that worked, so I went and tried reseating the GPU, using the video tutorial provided by tech support. Thankfully that seems to have fixed it for good and I haven't had any issues with the GPU since, so it probably did just came loose during shipping. The manual does advise you to make sure all components are fully connected after arriving when you open the case to take the packing foam out, so I can chalk that up as me not being thorough enough with checking all those component connections after shipping rather than it being necessarily CyberPowerPC's fault. Another issue is that the motherboard's software was a couple versions out of date, this doesn't prevent the computer from being usable out of the box but you'll need to learn how to flash the bios to utilize the computer to its full potential. Some final hardware issues is that the case's cover was annoying to put back on after taking it off (with the screw holes refusing to fully line up), and there are no handles nor holes to grip the case by, which with its pretty big size, does make it a bit cumbersome to lift and move around (especially so when you'll want to be so delicate with it). Aside from those things, I haven't noticed any other glaring issues. And on the plus side, there is no proprietary bullshit in the computer so it should be upgradeable in the future, while there was also no bloatware installed, only software that comes with Windows 11 by default. The computer's thermals also seem to be pretty good compared to what I researched online regarding typical computer temperatures, as is its power usage too. I'll once more repeat though I'm not a computer hardware expert, so there could be more subtle issues with the build quality or some of the less flashy parts used that I am unable to notice, that a computer expert would see. All-in-all, good price for great specs, with some tuning needed out of the box, so it gets a preliminary four stars for now. However, I only had this computer for a month so far, and the fifth star is contingent on how long this computer lasts; if it craps out in only a year or two, it wouldn't be getting five stars nor even keep its four star rating, but if it can go 5+ years, it will be an easy five star rating for me (though would anyone see the updated review and would this computer even still be sold by that point?). ... show more
