I have it at the foot of my bed and I store off season blankets in it. My bed is on a box spring and my mattress and it hits perfectly. I’m not sure it would look good next to a bed that is much higher off the floor. It’s not the most durable looking thing while putting it together but it hold my weight to sit on (120 lbs). I don’t make a habit to sit on it though. It’s more for decoration and storage. It’s definitely not something I would use for seating. ... show more
