This is my second kit and this was 10 times better quality than my last from a different brand. Very detailed peices that come cut and painted. I did have to adjust a bit as some wall peices were not cut straight but it turned out fine. I was a dummy and bought this because I was on a tirade of buying book nooks and tiny miniatures. I didn't realize this is tinier than tiny. That's on me though, not the product. Following the directions, it was so easy to put together but you DEFINITELY need tweezers for this one. Maybe even the magnifying glasses you can strap to your head? I nearly bought one of those for this one. There was a lot more cutting out of things than I was used to but I didn't care. I have plenty of knives and scissors. And in the end, it feels more rewarding anyway. Everything fits pretty much perfectly the way it's described in the booklet. I was also a bit of a dummy because I was expecting the cut outs to be separate pieces of paper but the cutouts are literally in the booklet. In the back. Just a heads up for anyone else who might be a dummy like me. The ONLY issue I have is the light. The battery. I am absolutely flabbergasted. I have no idea how to make it work. The media could not be loaded. Start this by saying this was my first miniature build. I was so happy with the difficulty level. I am an adult who works with my hands but I found it the perfect balance between challenging and still rewarding in that I could complete whole pieces and parts in about an hour with no major frustration whatsoever. The quality of this kit is fantastic, cannot stress that enough, and at the price point I was blown away. Sturdy, detailed materials and the instructions are beautiful once you get the hang of it, again, first ever model build for me. There are small translation mistakes but the photos are so detailed you can easily understand what's intended. I did buy a separate "model building kit" through Amazon. For me must have for this was exacto knife, pair of quality small scissors with precision tip, a cutting mat, tweezers and tiny wire cutter. I used those items every time I built. There are lots of kits to choose from. I also highly recommend the Beacon 3 in 1 glue. I tried every type of super glue, tacky glue, spray adhesive, blah blah just save urself and get that one, was by my favorite. Clear, instant grip but ample time to move and adjust, quick strong flexible set. Lights all work but I felt that was the trickiest most nerve wracking part. After all the moving and things from building and connecting if they'd still work, they did for the most part! One just wouldn't stay connected (my fault striped the wire too short) but I decided not to mess with it and compromise the rest, still very happy. Took me under a month to build but I would just build here and there when I felt like it. STRONGLY recommended! I've already bought another to build. Fun new hobby!! ... show more

    • Unclear instructions and frail pieces
I had high hopes for this kit: it looked nice on the product page and the materials seemed to be good quality. This was the longest build I've done and not very fun. I got frustrated with a few things along the way. For the most part, the kit was fine, except for the railings which were super delicate cuts in a single ply piece of wood that seemed to crumble when pressure was applied. I couldn't get most of them punched out. For something that delicate, they should've provided the pieces already cut out and ready to use. The instructions were also unclear towards the end where you need to assemble the floors. Instead of breaking it down step-by-step, they give you photos of the house and you have to figure out what got added. Sometimes, they'll give you the additions is faint red text with thin line(s) pointing. It's easy to miss key steps and, once the second floor is glued down, it's very difficult to correct any missing parts. Also, because the assembly photos are so zoomed out, you won't see where to thread wires - there's a hole in a first floor wall that's used for wires for second floor items. Overall, this kit was OK. It could be much better with ready-to-use railings and clearer instructions. ... show more

There are many companies that sell miniature house kits on Amazon, but I would always choose CUTEBEE if they also have the same product. For this kit, there was a piece missing, but the company was able to mail me the piece after I contacted them. Good customer service.

This was a fun challenge! Cutting teenytiny circles so they didn't look like octagons was difficult, but it was rewarding when all the tiny components came together to make a really cute tiny item. I wish there was a little extra materials, in case of a mess-up, which there were a couple, but I managed to work around or easily cover up mistakes. The only thing that bothered me a little bit, was the bookcase surround. The perforated edges were showing, and it looked like raw material. So I wallpapered it.
