This was my third kit assembly from various brands and my favorite by far. The consideration put into its preparation was so lovely. I was especially impressed by the laser-cut leaf paper and the wooden piece provided for shaping the coffee table leg wire. The materials were ample and not lacking in any way, everything came together beautifully. If I had to critique anything (besides the odd wording in the instruction manual, it's not bad enough to be unintelligible; rather gave me a chuckle here and there) it would be the dust cover. I don't like that it's only three panels and that the one doesn't cover the side of the diorama completely. Some of the pieces are fragile but honestly i think anyone of any skill level would be able to do it. The instructions for the most part were fine but the lighting diagrams were confusing. I worked it out though. No missing pieces. It was fun to build. It does feel more fragile than others I have done but its well made. Looks pretty. I love building miniatures and this was one was more challenging. One of the light wires was too short and I ended up having to splice it. The wood for one of the shelves was warped and I had to be creative with it. Over all, it turned out really cute.

I had a fantastic time putting this DIY miniature magic house together. It took a great deal of patience as there are lots of teeny tiny pieces to assemble, but with the right tools it's possible. I didn't try to do it one sitting. I found the best method was to spend a couple of hours here and there working on it. It allowed for time to let things dry. I suggest being ready to take time to familiarize yourself with the supplies and the instructions. They are not created by English-speaking people, but if you get familiar, you can just match the clearly marked letters/numbers. I'm a beginning and jumped into a more challenging one to start, but I'm not sorry. I made a mistake with the acrylic cover by not using clear tape to hold it together as I glued, and I made a mess. But that was on me. If you have patience and enjoy a challenge, I highly recommend this. I'll be looking for others. ... show more

The mushrooms were an issue for me but since this was only my second miniature build I will chalk that up to my own lack of skill. The pieces were tiny but that was expected, very good instructions, my only warning would be to look ahead at photos as there were a few instances where an item was positioned differently a few steps later. Just to preface, I’ve done 6 book nooks in which the wood is thick and “clicks” together. This is not like that at all. I don’t know if that was my misunderstanding by assuming it would be like the others I’ve done, but you have to glue EVERYTHING. Glue is not included either. Also, the pieces are extremely thin. It is very tedious and took me a long time as there are a lot of small pieces and you have to wait for glue to dry, but it did come out nicely. I would not recommend for beginners and I will never do another like this again. ... show more

Enjoyed putting together this "Magic House". Takes patience and attention to detail. Follow directions in correct order, due to the lighting fixtures. Everything was included to complete entire house except the glue, small craft knife, and scissors. I would recommend an advanced craft glue 3-IN-1 which dried quickly and strong. The intricate detail in this little house is amazing and it really does turn out as indicated. I have already started the "Magic Shack" and "Magic Book House" to add to my collection! ... show more
