This was my third kit assembly from various brands and my favorite by far. The consideration put into its preparation was so lovely. I was especially impressed by the laser-cut leaf paper and the wooden piece provided for shaping the coffee table leg wire. The materials were ample and not lacking in any way, everything came together beautifully. If I had to critique anything (besides the odd wording in the instruction manual, it's not bad enough to be unintelligible; rather gave me a chuckle here and there) it would be the dust cover. I don't like that it's only three panels and that the one doesn't cover the side of the diorama completely. This was my second model. It was really pleasant to work on. The only thing I advise is to look at where and how each light will go before you assemble. Other than that, it was very enjoyable.

I had a fantastic time putting this DIY miniature magic house together. It took a great deal of patience as there are lots of teeny tiny pieces to assemble, but with the right tools it's possible. I didn't try to do it one sitting. I found the best method was to spend a couple of hours here and there working on it. It allowed for time to let things dry. I suggest being ready to take time to familiarize yourself with the supplies and the instructions. They are not created by English-speaking people, but if you get familiar, you can just match the clearly marked letters/numbers. I'm a beginning and jumped into a more challenging one to start, but I'm not sorry. I made a mistake with the acrylic cover by not using clear tape to hold it together as I glued, and I made a mess. But that was on me. If you have patience and enjoy a challenge, I highly recommend this. I'll be looking for others. ... show more

Enjoyed putting together this "Magic House". Takes patience and attention to detail. Follow directions in correct order, due to the lighting fixtures. Everything was included to complete entire house except the glue, small craft knife, and scissors. I would recommend an advanced craft glue 3-IN-1 which dried quickly and strong. The intricate detail in this little house is amazing and it really does turn out as indicated. I have already started the "Magic Shack" and "Magic Book House" to add to my collection! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Start this by saying this was my first miniature build. I was so happy with the difficulty level. I am an adult who works with my hands but I found it the perfect balance between challenging and still rewarding in that I could complete whole pieces and parts in about an hour with no major frustration whatsoever. The quality of this kit is fantastic, cannot stress that enough, and at the price point I was blown away. Sturdy, detailed materials and the instructions are beautiful once you get the hang of it, again, first ever model build for me. There are small translation mistakes but the photos are so detailed you can easily understand what's intended. I did buy a separate "model building kit" through Amazon. For me must have for this was exacto knife, pair of quality small scissors with precision tip, a cutting mat, tweezers and tiny wire cutter. I used those items every time I built. There are lots of kits to choose from. I also highly recommend the Beacon 3 in 1 glue. I tried every type of super glue, tacky glue, spray adhesive, blah blah just save urself and get that one, was by my favorite. Clear, instant grip but ample time to move and adjust, quick strong flexible set. Lights all work but I felt that was the trickiest most nerve wracking part. After all the moving and things from building and connecting if they'd still work, they did for the most part! One just wouldn't stay connected (my fault striped the wire too short) but I decided not to mess with it and compromise the rest, still very happy. Took me under a month to build but I would just build here and there when I felt like it. STRONGLY recommended! I've already bought another to build. Fun new hobby!! ... show more

On the outside, this kit looked brand new—no tears in the plastic or box. However, when I opened it the kit was already partially assembled. Many pieces were already cut out and glued together, while others were missing entirely. Additionally, there was an old, chewed up screwdriver and pair of pliers in the box which clearly belonged to whoever returned this kit. I’m fine getting returns, but they need to inspect products before reselling them and should also label it as used. I have reached out to the manufacturer for a refund or replacement, but all I received was a promise of a follow-up email that never came. ... show more
