I just enjoy miniatures and book nooks. I especially look for book nooks that have lots of detail and a dust cover. I also like to add extra items to these projects to make them my own. These are fun and relaxing projects and they are so nice to look at.

I've done other miniature kits in the past, and this was my favorite I've ever tried by far. It turned out exactly like the pictures. Instructions are included in English with very clear illustrations. The kit requires glue and batteries which are not included. I used Elmer's craft bond glue which worked fine for everything that needed to be glued. The majority of the pieces just slot together like a 3D puzzle. Most of the more fragile pieces had duplicates in case they break, which was handy. It took me a couple of weeks to finish working on it for a few hours at a time, probably around 15 hours total. Overall very cute, and I would buy another kit from this company. My one complaint is the cauldron pieces keep popping apart and one snapped in half and there weren't any duplicates for that piece. I'll probably have to replace the cauldron with something else. ... show more

This is a great project to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I am really enjoying putting everything together and seeing all the little rooms.

    • Wiring issues
Everything seems quality. My only complaint is that all of the wires immediately fell off of the touch sensor. Not sure how I'm going to fix that.

    • Cute kit
This kit doesn’t stand out to me as anything special or unique, but it was fun to put together and the end result is nice. It looks great when displayed with several other book nook kits all in a row. Almost like looking at a bunch of different little worlds side by side.

    • Great new hobby!
This is my second bookshelf insert. It takes a decent amount of time to put together but instructions are straightforward. Very cute when they are done and will be a great addition to my bookshelf. Can be difficult as some pieces are tiny, and fragile. Would recommend getting some kind of forceps
