I ordered this to hang a vintage collegiate banner for display in a dorm room and it is a perfect applicaiton for something like this. I don't know if it would hold up to constantly opening and closing curtains, but to just hang something you don't mess with often this will do the trick!

This was probably the easiest time I’ve ever had installing a curtain rod. It literally took less than five minutes. The rod comes in pieces so you can make it the exact size you need. The one end slides for an exact fit. The rod comes with screws and anchors, but it also comes with 3M sticky pads. Since I was installing it on paneling, I opted to use just the sticky pads and not use the screws. The rod snaps into place and comes out easily. The ends are simple, but I like them. If you're purchasing this rod to drill into the wall, I would give it 5 stars. If you're purchasing this to stick to your wall I would give it 2 stars. The bar itself is good quality and looks nice, but it absolutely will not stay on the wall. I bought this so that I didn't have to drill holes in my wall in my apartment and really like the idea of just being able to stick it to the wall. The adhesive that you stick onto the back of the panels is very thin and doesn't appear to be able to hold a lot of weight. I installed all 4 of the given panels and then didn't add the bar nor curtains for over 24 hours. Id say I probably got a day in before it fell off the wall. I even then went out and bought strong adhesive to replace the given adhesive and it still wouldn't work so just know that if thats why youre looking at this particular item, it may not be worth your time. ... show more

This curtain rod was an overall good purchase for our home. It was easy to install and came with the option of either drilling or using adhesive stickers to attach the brackets to the wall. We chose to drill the brackets in since we own our home. We ordered this curtain rod to hang above our patio door, so it can extend pretty wide! The only downside to this rod is that it installs very close to the wall, so hanging it above thick trim makes the curtain hang very close to the window. This wasn't a dealbreaker for us since we wanted to cover our patio door for privacy and light. **I wouldn't recommend purchasing curtains with the big grommets like we did, as the rod is so close to the wall that the grommets catch on the wall/trim and make the curtain difficult to open. ... show more

Easy to apply. Love that I didn’t need any nails or to put any holes in the wall. Easy built and seems super sturdy. Love the feel and the look to it. It looks really expensive.

I ordered this no drill curtain rod simply because I HATE putting them up the traditional way. It not meant for a large window span and seems to be a little bendy when expanded to full length. They also attach close to the wall so be careful with your curtain selection.

Our rod in our dining room was falling down. I ordered this to replace it. I love that it has the 3M sticky tape. That made installation a breeze. If you install any middle supports then you will have a gap in the curtains. Just be aware of that when deciding. These are holding our curtains up nicely and they look great. ... show more
