  • Works Great! High Quality!
-All I wanted was a heated foot bath. I did not want a massager. This is great quality and great value at the price point for what I wanted. - It heats well. Once it reaches the "set" temperature (i.e., the temperature you set it at), it turns off the heater until the water in the footbath goes down by three degrees, and then the heater turns on again, & repeat. I would prefer two degrees. But that is just a minor preference. - You need to fill it with warm/hot water before you use it, which I have no problem with. If you put in cold/cool water it will take forever to heat up............but it is not intended for that. I use my hand to gauge the temperature of the water coming out of my faucet as I fill the footbath up. - I DO like that the removeable support does NOT have to be screwed in (support shown in the red circle). I saw some footbaths that used a screw to secure the support, but this one does not use a screw. It folds up to install into a notch under the "lid" of the footbath, and folds down to collapse the footbath. I like this feature. - The green lines in the photo point towards the two blue ovals where the bubbles come out. The bubbles are intended to circulate the water. This aids in dispersing the heat from the heater. The heater is near your toes and is the white raised item just behind the support circled in red. Don't expect a "massage" from these bubbles....again, they are only to circulate the water so the heated water does not stay only near your toes. But they do make a pleasant "babbling brook" sound while you relax! - In terms of the size of the footbath: To give you an idea of the size, I have men’s size 12 feet and if I move my toes all the way forward I have 3 inches of room between my heel and the back edge of the footbath. So, plenty of room. - I did see some footbaths that the sides are so high and the top opening so small that people complained about it. When I have my feet in the bath I don't feel that my legs or shins are constrained in any way. So this is another plus! - The only negative is on the bottom of the footbath; there are four "feet". Two feet are plastic and two feet are rubber (see photo with purple circles). We have a light colored bathroom counter and if I drag the footbath over the counter the rubber feet leave a faint black mark. This was able to be cleaned off however. This is so minor that I just make sure to pick the footbath straight up after I have filled it with water. Not a big deal, but this would be an item for the manufacturer to improve. The two rubber feet DO keep the footbath from sliding when you put your feet in/out, so the rubber feet do serve a purpose. This is very minor, so no issue. - The two rows of rollers do not move on their own (four on each side). If you want to massage the bottom of your feet you need to move your feet back and forth over the rollers. The rollers DO rotate when you move your feet. But again, all I wanted was a heated footbath, not a massager. - Max temperature is 118 degrees F. But I keep mine at 112 degrees, so this is OK with me. - It also has a timer that you can set in 10 minute increments (10 min to 60 minutes). I use the footbath for 40 minutes. So this is great for me. - Would I buy it again? Yes. It is a great footbath and value! ... show more

  • Good Product at a Good Price
Color: Green
The default temperature 107 degrees for this CURECURE collapsible foot spa is just right for me. Three or four degrees above make a big difference (too hot). During operation of the foot bath, I noticed that the default temperature sometimes fluctuates downward but no more than 3 or 4 degrees—a characteristic of almost every foot spa I reviewed. When this occurs, I set the temperature to 108, and the temperature is soon back to the default. I compared several foot baths, and this one seems to weigh less than the others. However, the unit weighs 4.1 pounds, not 3 pounds as shown on Amazon. I use a gallon of water (just enough to cover my feet), but there is plenty of room for more water. The added volume of water would make it more difficult to empty the foot spa. There is plenty of room in the spa—easily would accommodate a size 15 foot. When first adding water, be sure to add hot water (but not the hottest). If you add cool or cold water, the unit will take a long time to heat up to the desired temperature. The plug on the cord fits very snugly in my outlets and requires a little effort to plug in and unplug (but not an issue). The foot spa is ETL listed (Intertek) and complies with North American safety standards - also RoHS compliant. The box containing the foot spa had paper safety seals on each end. It seems that none of the foot spa models come with a removable power cord which would make it easier to empty the water. The unit does not have a handle, but a handle is a minor detail and often produces critical reviews in other foot spas, particularly when lifting the unit with water in it. I found the mechanical rollers to be stimulating to the bottom of my feet even when my feet are stationary. The mechanical rollers are removable if you prefer a flat surface. The control panel display is easy to use and read. This unit does not have a top cover which would be useful when not being used. I add Epsom salts and vinegar to the water, and this has not affected the operation of the unit. The bubbles are fine, and they don’t seem weak to me as some have claimed. The bubbles keep the water moving and the temperature evenly distributed. I also have no issues with the noise of the unit—mentioned in some reviews. There motor produces a slight hum which is not distracting or annoying. I think the CURECURE collapsible foot bath is an excellent choice at a good price for the features offered. Added later: Diabetics should research the topic of foot baths carefully from trusted sources. The guidelines are different for diabetics. For example, the consensus is that diabetics who use foot baths should do so for a duration of no more than 15-20 minutes and that the soaking water temperature should be between 92-100℉ (no hotter than 100℉). ... show more

  • Great foot bath for the price
Great item - it's very intuitive to use and works very well overall. The bubbles and vibrating feature can sometimes become a little irritating (maybe that's just my preference) but you can turn them off if you want, and just use the heating feature by itself. The plastic rollers are a nice touch that I initially didn't like but came to appreciate over time. I really like the easy-to-use controls that allow you to set the temperature and also show you the current temperature. As others have said, the re-heating function only kicks in when the temperature drops by 3 degrees from the desired temp (I wish it was 2 degrees for more consistent heat). But that's a small issue. The fact that it compacts for storage is also a definite plus. If you want a foot bath but don't want to spend $80+, I think this is the best one you can get. ... show more
