My 80 y/o mother in law who has dementia needed a cup with a lid to carry around in her walker basket without spilling water all over the place. These work great for that. They are light weight. Also, screw open & closed very easily. She can manage them by herself There is a ridge on the straw so it can't fall out. And if your demented loved one picks up the whole thing by the straw, you'll know it's not going to go crashing to the floor. I would buy again ... show more

I got the pair of clear cups because the measurements showed they were shorter and fatter which is what I really wanted, but they’re not. They are the same taller size as the other cups. They are still nice cups so I kept them, but the search for shorter cups goes on.

Leak proof is true except where the straw goes but that goes for every cup with a straw, very durable dropped it once on hard surface still in tack. Only a little hard to clean the bottom as the cup becomes very narrow for hand wash.

My preferred size. Only complaint is minor. The seal came out of one as soon as I removed the top. So I put it back in. Filled it with ice and drink at work. I wish more stores would stock these.
