I read lots of reviews before buying this. I'm very happy with this coffee maker! I have had no issues with water leaking, no issues with messes in the brew head. The grinder works well. It does make a mess with loose coffee grounds around the pod and on the counter, but I feel it is worth the extra time to sweep up a few grounds. Having fresh ground coffee so quickly is wonderful! I got the stainless and black model. It looks really nice on my countertop. It feels well-made and has functioned perfectly everyday since I received it. It's a clever design but has a few features that need some twerking. Challenge to pour beans in with mechanism in the middle. Silver grate only fits pedestal not the sill without it. Can't adjust darkness of coffee which is a shame.

    • Good coffee, but makes a big mess grinding!

I bought this for my wife who loves her coffee, and thought she'd love having it freshly ground! After using it however for just one day, we both quickly realized, it is just not worth the mess it makes every time you grind the coffee. No matter how careful you are, it gets ground up coffee grinds all over the drip tray which in turn splatter all over the counter around the grinder side. We found that tapping on the side of the grinder after it finishes before removing the pod helped, but as soon as you place the pod in the coffeemaker side and snap the lid shut, more grinds fall out of the grinder contributing to the mess. Again, good coffee but just not worth the mess it makes, therefore sending it back. ... show more
