I purchased this knife set to replace my old set. These knives are solid and very well built. The wood block has a clean design and looks great sitting on my counter. I have not used all of the knives yet but wish it had more than one paring knife in the set. The one knife in the set I do not like is the utility knife. It has a serrated cutting edge. I absolutely love my new knife block. This would be a great gift for our housewarming or newlyweds. They look expensive but are a great price. They match my white kitchen very well. The knives are sharp and easy to use. The scissors are a great quality as well, definitely recommend this item !

These knives are sharp and work well. Four of the chopping and cutting knives have cracks in the handles only after six months. We never put them in the dishwasher. They are hand wash only. The steak knives haven’t cracked yet. For the price I guess I’m somewhat not surprised but I don’t understand if I’m taking care of them like they say to in the instructions, why are the handles cracking? ... show more
