  • Excellent product!
I initially purchased the Cudy LT500 and promptly returned it. I gambled and purchased the P5 model which costs a lot more but is also a newer product with an updated chipset. This router works perfect and with very little setup. If you do need help the Cudy support team answers emails in a timely manner and they seem very nice, knowledgeable and eager to assist. In my case I had a 5G SIM card that wasn't connecting to the AT&T 5G network initially. I took the SIM out of the router, put it back in the phone and let it connect to the 5G network. I ran some speed tests on the phone and then inserted it back into the P5 router. It connected right away. Setting up my home network is easy and if you need them, there are several good YT videos out there regarding setup by Couch Potato Cafe. If you live in an area that has decent 4G/5G signals then you will not be disappointed in this product as it delivers blazing fast speeds. I have it in my basement and still get good wifi coverage in the far reaches of the second floor. Thank you Cudy team! ... show more

  • DID NOT WORK
New update. Tried a 2nd one of these Cudy routers. Again it did not work with AT&T. Again Cudy support was non existing. My LTE 18 Cuddy works great. It sets up and works with almost no effort on my part. This New 5G NR NSA AX3000 Cudy router is useless and at this point I think it can't work with AT&T as clamied. I can not recomend this router to anyone. Mostly due to Cudies very sorry support. Worst I have found yet. Update: I have tried to make this work with AT&T 2 times now. No luck. Cudy support is non existing and Cudy support doesn't doesn't reply to there on line support page. . If there is an issue you can e-mail them and hope for a reply but you will never get a reply. Over a week now with 3 support e-mails sent in with no reply. I can only say you take your chances with these guys. I would recomend looking at another make. Cudy support just sucks the big one. I have to return mine. It would not work no matter what I did. It would not connect to AT&T's network which I know works just fine. I have the Cudy LT18 router and get very good speeds with it . When I move the same sim card to the new Cudy 5G NR SA NSA AX3000 it fails to connect to AT&T no matter what I try. The IMEI numbers was veryfied two times and I still could not get the thing to come up and work. I went back to using my LT18 with that same Sim Card. It is solid and performs well. What was I thinking buying this Cudy 5G ? It is a failure for me. Back it will go. Cudy still makes a great router ,but mine was a dud this time. ... show more

  • Livestreaming Stability
This product works if you want to use it for normal functions such as connecting your devices (laptop, ipad, etc) and browsing, watching videos, getting work done. I used it in the capacity of trying to use this 5G modem / router in hopes of bypassing the hotspot on my phone. I was hoping to livestream my kids youth sports games while on the road. What I learned is that the connection is not stable for livestreaming and the bandwidth is too low. I watched a lot of reviews on how this product works great, and I believe it does if you're needing internet connection to connect to a few devices. I used my phones sim card and plugged it in and it caught signal within 30 seconds. Very easy to use. Yet when hooking up Logitech Mevo Start 3 pack cameras, an iPad, and streaming to multiple platforms, that is where it is lacking. Glad i bought to test it out. Onward and upward to finding an affordable stable mobile livestream setup. ... show more

  • Powerful, Flexible Router with great support
This router is excellent for those technically inclined. It is well-built, and support questions are responded to quickly. I am using it with T-Mobile for fixed wireless at home and also evaluating it for my company. It works so well that it has enabled me to use T-Mobile as my ONLY ISP at home. With T-Mobile 5G, I am getting close to 300 Mbits/s download without an additional antenna. AMAZING! I tested it with LTE, and the speeds were close to 100 Mbits/s. If you have 5G, it's a no-brainer. Even if you have 4G/LTE, it is worth getting to future-proof, as all of us will eventually be on 5G. Lastly, all the other components are top-notch, including Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 6, and the latest Qualcom processor. ... show more

  • Didn’t love it at first
When I first opened the unit it felt cheap compared to the GL.iNet GL-X3000. I bought both to see what one would be better. The glinet has a fan that turns on when the unit gets hot, the Cudy does not. The Cudy worked with 5g right away. I changed the IMEI, TTL and the APN and my provider now see’s Cudy as an iPhone. Now I have 100 gigs of fast data for 10.00 and it’s not using the hotspot data like the glinet was. The SIM card came out of our 3rd phone that we don’t use. When I install the unit in the camper I might buy a cooling plate. That would help cool the device if it gets too hot. So far the unit gets warm but nothing that requires a fan. I read a few comments of people saying it gets very hot under load. I have tested it with 2 devices streaming and it’s been fine so far. When devices connected to the glinet the provider knew this and was using the hotspot data from the sim. We only get 5 gigs of hotspot so that wasn’t an option. But the Cudy is doing what it needs to so it’s #1 in my book. ... show more
