Definitely has a nice look to it for a rugged phone. The only thing I'm concerned about is the back maybe they could have put some type of rubber bumper on that back camera for protection in a drop but other than that seems like it would be a very sturdy and very durable we'll see as time goes on

I had the king Kong 9 before this and the screen glass broke 3 days into having it. I stuck it out for 4 months then the screen broke entirely to the point where the touch screen didn't work. Feeling like I didn't get a fair shot at trying the underwater camera (my kid is in swim class) I bought this one to try again. Now this one freezes and restarts about a dozen times a day at the worst possible times (like when I need the camera) ... show more

The phone was good nice screen size volume a bit low for max volume but I hate that it broke so easily after 1 week. I choose rugged phones for the beating they can take but this king Kong phone broke when it fell 8ft off my ladder and hit the floor. I'm going back to doogee at least their phones don't break this easily. I've dropped those phones from 20+ ft and they still worked no broken screens. I work on scissor-lifts so I need a rugged phone to take a beating, price was good it was light for a rugged phone. ... show more

Screenshattered, operating system is subpar will not allow music to play unless Spotify is open. Battery does not last 8 hours I have to recharge it throughout my work day after only having it a month. Company will not assist with repair or any troubleshooting.

    • An awesome phone that I'm thinking about switching carriers for.

To give you an idea of why I picked this phone, the phone I'm using currently is a Kyocera DuraForce Pro 2. I prefer drop-proof, water-proof, me-proof phones, so this was right up my alley and is an IDEAL replacement for my DuraForce Pro 2. Here's the kicker. When I ordered this, I just saw a phone with specs that bury mine (24gb vs 4gb, and 256gb vs 64gb) and I had to have it. Now that I've received it, I've figured out that it doesn't support Verizon (ACK!). Huge blow. But, being 100% honest, I'm way over-paying for my cellular service, and have been thinking about changing over anyway. I LOVE this phone, it's so much faster (and better in every way) than my Kyocera. The back screen is awesome. I'm seriously considering changing providers just to get rid of my old phone. I'm going to look into how painful the change will be, and if it's not too much of a hassle, I may switch just to use this. The only reason I took -1 star off is simply for not supporting the biggest providers. Like, why? ... show more
