I absolutely love this cup! The top is a screw on and the flip up cover both secure nicely. When open, the flap sits flat so it’s not sticking up while you’re trying to drink. The rubber ring around the center of the cup helps with slipping… and it’s nice and comfortable to hold on to. I tipped the cup completely up side down and there was no leakage. I love these mugs so much, I have them in 3 colors and will probably buy more. They are a great size, easy to grip and lovely color options. The only thing is, this is the kind that keep your drinks warm or cold, which is great, except that you do need to remember that before drinking something really hot that you just poured. Don’t pour some really hot coffee and think you can just sip it in 5 mins, cause you will burn the hell out of your mouth! I have a few times lol. I usually keep the tab open or maybe even untwist the lid some to let some air get in and then drink it after 10-15 mins. But it will keep it warm for HOURS! which is great for me because i don’t typically down my coffee real fast, i sip it through the first part of my day, so it keeps it hot until lunch time. Or it will keep things nice and cold for hours also. Also, it is a smaller cup and not a lot of space between the lid, so if you fill it up, you need to leave at least a half inch of space from the top, or else when twist the lid on you will overflow and spill some coffee out. This mug serves me perfectly with 12 oz content. The right size for me. It holds the temperature as long as there is enough liquid. As you drink down obviously hot coffee will cool down, or cold beverage will warm up. Quite happy with it. No leaks.
