As simple as it sounds, I love that the straw is attached to a fixed mouthpiece that allows you to sip from the same spot every single time instead of having to fish for a straw that gets bent when you close the lid. You also have the option to quick pour without changing anything about the usual function. Straw is detachable and stiff so it wont break easily and can be cleaned. The straw diameter is also wide so you aren’t trying to fight for water when you’re dying between sets but also not too wide where you’re big gulping a fire hose. The insulation is very good as well. Has it sitting on a hot leather seat on a 104 F hot Texas afternoon while driving to the gym. The exterior got hot but the water remained cold as ever. Haven’t tested the temperature longevity but I don’t really care as long as i get long term use out of it. The build quality feels very good. I think I’ve found my permanent water bottle. This water bottle is great for my son to take to school. He likes the handle that he can carry it with, but it also fits in his backpack pocket without leaking. I wanted a particular volume of water, so cup holder fitment was not an issue for me. (it doesn't fit, FYI). My primary use for this was at work to make sure I am drinking enough water. I love the little flip up tip, it helps ensure nothing gets on the part where your lips go. It will keep my water cool while the bottle sits on a ledge in the sun while I mow the lawn or any other outdoor chores of significant duration (1-2 hrs), but ice in it is gone after a few hours of sitting in 80+F temps. I carry it with me hiking on hikes up to 8 miles, but its not really well suited for carrying, IMO. The angled handle while not a problem after a mile, by mile 3 its focusing all its weight into your fingers along a thin edge and requires frequent hand switching etc. I would look elsewhere if I wanted something for hiking. It does NOT take well to being dropped. I have dropped mine a couple times, and notably when I dropped it straight down, it bent in on one side and now it will not sit level on a flat surface and is prone to tipping over. I am not sure I can fault the item for my clumsiness, but its disappointing it could dent so significantly from a 3 ft fall to be difficult to balance on a flat surface. ... show more

This water bottle is excellent. It is portable, easy to clean, easy to use, and keeps everything clean and safe from germs when the lid is closed. It fits in my cupholder which is important to me. It does not have too many parts to clean and does not leak at all. I have been using it daily since I got it and ordered it to replace a Stanley knock-off that broke. While I love the handle on those kinds of cups, the handle on this cup works well and the straw is not exposed to the elements. I feel like it is a cleaner cup to use and may order more in different sizes. ... show more
