This is a warm fleece jacket made of very dense fleece fabric. The fit is good. The hood is cut well and is comfortable. The multi-pocket arrangement runs from the practical to the curious. The main hand warmer pockets are large and the openings are set high to allow for a backpack hip belt. There are pockets in the sleeves including one with a port for wired headphones. There is a pocket in the lower back that runs all the way across the back and can be accessed from either side. All the zippers are quiet and good pulls. The main front zip is double ended and reversed from how most US zippers work with the sliders on the left. It is a bit fiddly to get the inserted piece all the way into the sliders, (this does seems to be getting better with use) but once fully seated the zip works smoothly. I just unboxed this jacket and I am really impressed with it so far. We live at a high altitude and currently have 25-30mph winds with snow/rain mix. I put it to the test and stepped out into the weather. This is pretty much wind proof! I had on a light t-shirt underneath and did not feel the wind anywhere under the jacket. Material feels nice. Lots of pockets. All of these are pros. The zipper on the wrong side really isn’t an issue. Only has a couple cons: the main “hand” pockets are a bit to close together for me, I like them more to the sides. Hood would be nicer with draw cords. Color is dead on as advertised. It’s super lightweight. I am 5’7” but have broad shoulders and have to wear an XL. Sleeves are just right, so I understand why some reviews say they are short. All in all, I’ll be ordering a few more in other colors. ... show more

Cool looking jacket. Fleece is a little on the thin side, but enough to keep you warm. Layer with base layer and shell and you'll be good to about 20 degree. Zipper on the left side. Some say it runs small, but for me size Small fits. 5'6" 150lbs. If anything, it's a little long. Covering my butt. Happy with it. Thinking about getting another. ... show more

This is very comparable to military fleece jackets. Very warm, even on the coldest days. Excellent wind breaker jacket. Soft on the skin, durable zipper, not like the cheap ones.

So here is my overall honest review, i'll start with the pro's. Pros: *Plenty of pockets *Good for 40 degree weather *Love the hood(Favorite feature by far) Cons: *Zipper is on left side - Just makes me realize it was made in china each time i zip it *Hand pockets are about 6" higher than normal making it uncomfortable - Biggest gripe Overall its not bad, would I purchase again, not likely, but I will keep it and use it for fishing and yard work. I just can't get over the whole hand pockets being so high. If that were changed I would give it a 4 start, change the zipper and pockets a 5 star. We got this for one of our sons as two of the other guys in the family have Bearskins. This is really similar. First one of these we got was navy, then when he grew out of that one we got it in dark grey. Excellent excellent jacket. We live in the Midwest and he needed this as an alternative to a winter jacket basically. He wears this to the bus stop in the snow and rain because it’s thin enough to get away with as a hoodie all day at school. It has a ton of pockets to hold all his stuff. So many pockets ! This first one shows virtually no wear on it after a full school year and my kid is not easy on his clothes. The Velcro patches on the sleeves are fun too. This is definitely a men’s fit, as it fit me (mom) funny but fits the guys perfectly. My son gives it 10 Stars because it’s comfy, soft, and keeps him warm.
